VIDEO: Barack ‘No Time for the Texas Border’ Obama Parties at a Denver Bar

Barack Obama is away from D.C. right now doing what he obviously sees as his primary presidential duties, fundraising and partying. It was widely known that Obama was invited by Texas Governor Rick Perry to visit the Rio Grande border during his fundraising visit to Texas to see firsthand exactly what the Lone Star State is experiencing with the raging, rampant illegal alien invasion.

Perhaps since it wouldn’t make for a good photo-op, Obama declined. After all, he couldn’t take the chance of a rogue journalist or border patrol agent breaking his anti-First Amendment order to not take pictures at the border or detention facilities. It would not make for a shining moment for Obama to have a picture of himself taken with individuals in the background with scabies, coughing from tuberculosis, or any of the other number of diseases that are being brought across the border by illegal aliens.

But, once Obama arrived at the second leg of his partying presidential tour in Denver, he did find time to go partying at a local Denver bar, where smoking pot is legal. In the video, you can hear someone say to Barack, “Here you go, brother. You want to hit this?” The response by Obama was a huge smile and laughter.

Now, no one knows exactly what Obama’s answer was to this question, but why is the President of the United States putting himself in such a position such as to degrade the Office of the Presidency?

Obama’s partying at a Denver bar while claiming to not have time to visit the Texas border sends a message. For him, the Office of the Presidency is a position where he can live the ‘glamorous life’ courtesy of the taxpayer. If he ignores major issues or abuses his power in corrupt scandals, then he’ll just turn to pop culture and photo ops to try to make the people forget.

That is another thing he did in Denver. Obama took the time for a playful photo op…with a gorilla.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the person that America has entrusted the future of our republic to. As Twitchy pointed out, remember when George Bush was described as a frat boy? If non-drinking, non-smoking Bush was a frat boy, then Obama must be the head of the frat, or perhaps he is simply a Hollywood hipster who loves to party rather than do real work, as this country has witnessed time and again.

Choosing to party rather than buckle down and do real work is not new to Obama. After all, that choice to drink, smoke, and do drugs is the choice that he made time and again in high school. Should we expect anything different given his history? That takes us back to the question asked by the patron in the bar, “Do you want to hit this?” What do you think the answer was?

Difficult to see and to hear and to endure the lack of leadership that we have at this time. For me, this speaks volumes about those who support these people.

Andrea Mitchell argues White House 'late to the game' on everything

MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell called out President Obama Wednesday for “shooting pool and drinking beer” in the midst of a border crisis that both sides of the aisle are calling him out for ignoring.

The White House tweeted out pictures of Obama hanging out with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper doing those activities Tuesday night, leaving Mitchell to ask Rep. Henry Cuellar (D., Texas) how the administration could be that tone-deaf.

“What were they thinking when they did that photo opportunity with Hickenlooper shooting pool and drinking beer?” she asked.
Cuellar, who has been one of the most vocal Democrats calling for Obama to visit the border, said the images “floored” him.

“If he’s saying he’s too busy to go down to the border but you have time to drink a beer, play pool, the appearance means that he’s not paying attention to this humanitarian crisis,” he said.

Mitchell also wondered whether this latest crisis was part of a “pattern” with Obama in being “late to the game” on yet another issue like with the Veterans Affairs scandal, something that her colleague Chuck Todd alluded to earlier on Morning Joe when he said events appeared to control the White House.

“You know, it was a continuous problem that people were warning about, but it didn’t get to the president,” Mitchell said. “Is the White House too insular? Is cabinet government not working? What is going on here?”
