I would say we are all disappointed, Judy. No fresh start. It just shows that the "Drain the Swamp" message didn't get through to the hallways of Congress. Our opposition in the Republican party is still there and the desires to block legislation in dealing with illegal aliens will still be fierce.

I do not understand why enough people in the House could not get an outside insider to step up and agree to support him. Paul Ryan's agenda called a "Better Way" seems to be his focus, not President Elect Trump's. He is a rather pompous fella.

Lou Dobbs referred to Paul Ryan as the "Snake" in the poem that Donald Trump frequently read at his rallies. We could alter it a bit to say you knew I was a snake before you voted me as Speaker again.

It's really sad our party wouldn't spring into action and select a Speaker who represents our people and new President. It will be a tug of war through the whole session. Well, as they say, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it, so we charge forward, back Trump all the way, and make sure these Congresscritters know they do not have the last word this time, we do.
