The feds are not only investigating Russian meddling in the US election and possible links to President Trump — they are looking into some right-wing and conspiratorial websites that boosted the new president and were sharply critical of Hillary Clinton.

In particular, the FBI is trying to determine whether bots that promoted articles on websites like Breitbart News and InfoWars were in some way related to Russia’s effort to interfere in the US election, McClatchy reported.

The FBI’s Counterintelligence Division is leading the probe.
The social media bots automatically retweeted and otherwise disseminated posts from the sites throughout the election. It is believed the bots were being run out of Russia.

“This may be one of the most highly impactful information operations in the history of intelligence,” a former intelligence official told McClatchy.

But not all bots were pro-Trump during the election.
The Verge reported last October that Clinton’s campaign created one to disseminate Trump quotes that it believed would hurt his candidacy.

News of this investigation comes a day after FBI Director James Comey officially confirmed that he’s investigating the Trump campaign’s possible connections to the Russian meddling in the US election.

This is what I mean about complete corruption. Our government our very own American government is playing games here with something they know is aimed at preventing a President from doing what we, the people, requested he do.

What exactly did Russia stand to gain from influencing our elections? No one has said yet.

This is insanity

We have a country full of illegal aliens. Some of these with the stated goal of taking back part of this country - and they are own their way to doing so. We know they are committing violent crimes.

We have a country full of 'refugees', 'immigrants' that have been granted legal entry that do not like this country or it's people. Many of these who do not wish to physically harm us, are engaged in activities which are illegal and do great harm.

What about China? If anyone has something to gain, it's China. If anyone has an agenda, it's China.

Also, let's try to find out why our lawmakers are so gung ho to allow illegals to stay, work, defy our laws, use our resources, etc. Our lawmakers are not just kind hearted, wrong headed, lovely people. They are hard nosed, sell to the highest bidder, politicians. What are they getting and from whom, to allow this travesty to continue?

Search for "Fethullah Gulen" and Harmony Charter Schools. We have to ask ourselves why this group has been given the contracts to operate charter schools in this country - most in Texas.

Who got paid off to allow that to happen?

To me, this is worse and potentially more dangerous to our country than whether Russia likes Pres. Trump or not.

We need a lot of investigation - but it just seems Russia might be way down on the totem pole in terms of danger to this country.
