Homeless man faces new charges in rape case

A homeless man charged with raping a 4-year-old girl faces new charges after Collier County investigators learned he gave them a fake name.

Carlos Eduardo Alfaro was arrested March 22 under the alias Tito Zavala. He was working for an area day labor company, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators charged him with raping a girl whose family let him sleep under their trailer porch on Bayshore Road just east of Naples.

Alfaro is a convicted sex offender in Virginia, where he was sentenced to five years in prison, the sheriff’s office reported. He served one year and was then deported back to El Salvador.

In December 2003, he reappeared in Virginia and was deported a second time as an Aggravated Felon.

Collier deputies have now charged Alfaro under his real name, and they’ve also charged him with failing to register as a sex offender and providing false information to authorities.

He faces life in prison if convicted of the most serious charge, sexual battery on a child under age 12.

He is still in the Naples Jail Center without bond.

I wonder if he'll get amnesty too, after all family values don't stop at the Rio Grande, he was just doing the work Americans are too lazy to do as an undocumented child sex care provider.

A prime example of why we need a 2000 mile wall at the southern border.

This should be sent all over the country too. I'd like to hear what George Bush and Alien Specter would have to say to that four year old little girl.

We spent about 9 months in AZ a couple of years ago. They were having a big debate about illegal immigration and a group was trying to get a law passed about it.

In a debate I watched one night, a lady working to get it passed was debating a lady from, of all things, the Chamber of Commerce.

I was shocked when the lady advocating the law gave some very startling statistics about how many illegals were child molestors and criminals in AZ - huge percentage. The lady from the Chamber did not challenge the figures or comment on them. It made me think they had some validity.

It has been said,that MExico 'helps' criminals across when they are released from prison, down there.

How about if we ALL copy it and send it to the White House. Can you imagine, they would probably throw it in the trash.

We cannot allow this to go unanswered BY OUR GOVERNMENT !!!

I think it should be sent - maybe to some news media also.

Of course, I am so cynical - I think the politicians already know - in fact I think they know more than we do.

But then, as I said, I am cynical - while I think it, I hope it isn't true.
