My take:
This is a great choice IMO, unless I find out info to the contrary. I was hoping for Luttig, but this guy was my second choice. If he's being compared to Scalia then that's a good thing IMO. Of course the Dems are trying to slam him as being too radical. Like they should talk. Of course the Dems wanted Bush to nominate another left wing radical that will legislate from the bench. Thank god this time Bush didn't appease them. We might have dodged a bullet this time. Getting Miers to withdraw and getting this guy might prove to pay huge dividends for us. Well see how it turns out.
Wonder where he stands on securing our borders and deporting all illegal immigrants.
I heard supposedly he has a good track record on that issue, but I'll have to wait and get more info to be sure. So far I like what I've heard about him, but if I'm wrong it wouldn't be the first time.Quote:
