"Congress Digging in Their Heels"
It is sounding real positive for us! Keep after those Congressmen, despite Bush and his Amnesty Agenda!

I have been having a much stronger response from our Representatives than I ever did from the Senators. Guess that's because it's more in their neighborhood. Mine is strongly against Amnesty and everything else we are concerned about. I keep in contact with mine and I hope he's listning. I've gotten answers to specific questions so I'm hoping it's not the typical chain letter. Or else it is and alot of others are asking the same questions.

As expected the Senate folded like a cheap lawn chair, so we must keep pressure on the house to hold the line or at least stall until November.

Yeah...Frist just got the nastiest letter from me tonight. I think I am going to send out letters in spanish saying Frist is totally against amnesty and then giving the address and location of his family members. It's time these idiots get a taste of the REAL illegals!!
The blood of the innocents is in their hands. They caused this, they ignored this, and I say bring it to their doorstep.

In todays newspaper, there was an editorial by the congressman from the 11th district in PA. Previously he had supported a "path towards citizenship" for illegals. The usual. Well, today his editorial castigates Bush for his guest worker/amnesty for undercutting the American worker. He goes on to say that we must protect the border. This was a surprising change for me. I have called the guy, sent a signed petition from the place I work and letters from me and other friends. Maybe it finally sunk in. This area of PA is a working class area and I couldn't believe he'd support guest worker/amnesty. So, I think thats one Democrat on our side.
Keep your fingers crossed.<div>Thank you Governor Brewer!</div>
