Bush's Surrender Plan
Bush's Surrender Plan
By: Presidential Candidate, Daniel Gilbert
Although President Bush has consistently opposed surrender in Iraq, the administration's policies have all but waved the white flag regarding our national sovereignty and security.
While President Bush has been out stumping his Iraq policy - and rightfully so - several aspects of his domestic policies have snuck in under the radar of the general electorate; and with the help of Democrats, much to the detriment of our national sovereignty and security.
While public pressure by the blogosphere and grassroots movements to cease the chipping away of our sovereignty has been somewhat effective, the Bush Administration and his cohorts in the Democratic Party continue to push the white flag envelope.
Last week Senator Dick Durbin attempted to push through the DREAM Act, part of the original Amnesty Bill supported by President Bush. It is ironic that such a provision attached to the defense authorization bill, would provide in-state tuition to illegal aliens but not to our men and women in uniform. Somehow support of our troops ends at our borders and is trumped by those who cross them illegally.
Senator Durbin, obviously rattled by Congress' all-time low approval rating of eleven percent and calls by angry constituents, withdrew the bill and is currently repackaging it to re-market to the public.
The US Senate also voted last week to de-fund the controversial provision of the 1994 NAFTA treaty that would allow Mexican trucks to cross our borders and freely travel throughout the United States. This program not only provides terrorists and criminals a safe haven to wreak havoc on our society, it provides a vehicle to force the United States to further cede its sovereignty. President Bush has vowed to veto the transportation bill which de-funds this program.
These trucks are expected to drive freely on the planned NAFTA superhighway which will extend from Texas to Canada as part of the North American Union; and in which "corridors" have already begun construction in many states.
To pour salt water on the wounds of Americans, Senator Joseph Biden is expected to chair a Foreign Relations Committee hearing on the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) this week in the hopes of securing a quick vote to ratify the treaty. LOST, which President Bush supports, would hand over control of over 70 percent of the earth's surface to the UN, turn over US sovereignty to an inept organization bent on diminishing the power of the United States and bolster power of tyrannical regimes hostile to US - all courtesy of US taxpayers who fund nearly a quarter of the organization's budget. The Administration also supports ratification of this treaty.
Queasy over these? This month, President Bush and his colleagues in Canada and Mexico met in Montebello, Canada and released the North American Plan for Avian and Pandemic Influenza which basically places the United States under international guidelines, specifically the WHO and WTO, in the event of a pandemic in the United States. Should the US be hit with catastrophic influenza, we can all breathe a sigh of relief that the UN, Ahmedinjad and Chavez, will be there.
The majority of these policies are part of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP). This agreement, which took place in Waco, TX in 1995, bypassed Congress and We The People, and was directly placed under the Department of Commerce. The SPP is modelled after the European Union, where the United States will cede its power, economic superiority and security to a mini-UN all for the benefit of multinational corporations.
As Bush continues to press his message about restoring self-determination, sovereignty, freedom and democracy to the Middle East, particularly Iraq, one has to wonder: Are our troops going to eventually be fighting under Old Glory, or the Mexican flag, Canadian flag or a North American Union Jack? Or, worse yet, the white flag of surrender of our sovereignty?
If I become president, I will protect our country's sovereignty by immediately moving to closing and placing the military on our borders. I will move to rout out all illegals, prosecute employers who hire illegals, promote "legal" immigration, cancel all NAU, NAFTA, LOST, SPP and related agreements and shore up the state department with the resources to do their jobs to protect the American Citizens. I will protect the US and its citizens in our homeland, while promoting democracy and human rights abroad. Protecting the citizens of the United States of America is not mutually exclusive to promoting democracy. Both can effectively be accomplished at the same time.

I had fun going to the web page and taking the RINO Vote
Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother
