    C-Span Watch Report and Dream Act Vote Tracking Thread

    Today, as you watch and listen to Congress on C-Span, please post things you hear and when the vote comes in, count the yeas and nays and report your count. At least we will be close and often C-Span will display a vote result shortly after the count.

    The vote in the Senate is expected around 4:30pm Eastern Time so in about an hour.

    The Dream Act vote around 4:30 pm EST

    Sessions was just talking about ....Fake Diplomas.

    He believes that the Dream Act will lead to fraud through illegal aliens qualifing for "a path to citizenship" using fake diplomas.

    he has good reason to worry because they usually always carry some sort of fake or stolen document

    Put your poster boy down. That guy is getting a law degree and all he wants to do in life is enlist in the military.

    That precise problem has occurred commonly with the guestworker visa folks (who consider themselves immigrants in spite of not being on an immigration visa). They are supposed to have education and high skills, and often turn out to be, well, .... not quite what they were claimed to be, once they're on the job and people get to know them.
