I just sent mine. Also, a clue to everyone. Try to start the first sentence out differently or compose your own entire letter. I learned that alot of Reps and Sens don't pay as much attention to the letters sent the same way. Alter the first paragraph because that is what they look for.

I composed a whole new one with stronger language, polite, but FIRM.

Yea, I think it's best just to ramble and not to use a form letter. Use various info for inspiration, but write it yourself.

You don't need to spend much time. The crucial point you want to get across is that you are a voter and an activist who opposes CAFTA strongly.

On this Tuesday morning of June 28th, there will be vote on CAFTA in the Senate Finance Committee.

Also, Bush has sent the bill to Congress on June 23rd, which means that they only have 90 days (from June 23rd) to sign it into law. But there's a push to sign it even earlier.

The administration is pushing for a vote on CAFTA by the Senate as early as next week, expecting to get a vote of approval that would put pressure on the House to approve CAFTA soon after it reconvenes the week of July 11th.

The key to convincing your senators and representative to vote NO on CAFTA is to persuade others in your circle of influence to join you in contacting your senators and representative in vigorous opposition to CAFTA. Although both senators and representatives should be contacted, focus your most strenuous efforts on your representative. The House vote promises to be a cliffhanger.

There's still time to whip up vigorous opposition to CAFTA.
1) Phone & write your House rep first. Then, if you have time, your Senators, especially if they're on the Senate Finance Committee.
2) Tell your circle of family / friends / neighbors to do the same.
3) Post on a variety of web forums.
4) Write letters to the editor of local newspapers.
5) Call in to talk radio.

In short, make some noise people!!!

This is one of the most important bills this year. It's more than just about CAFTA. It's symbolic. It will put the globalists on their heels. From here, we can go on the offensive.

But the globalists know this too. So, they're leaning hard on the reps to pass CAFTA. Their using both the carrot and the stick. They're bribing and they're threatening. We need to be double tough to get our reps to do our bidding.

The people we're up against are not messing around, and thus we don't have the luxury to do so either. We're in a war with the globalists and this is one of the most important battles of the year.

Imagine your Mel Gibson in Braveheart and engage the enemy. Charge!!!!!
