Coddled colllegians need a history lesson

What kind of offspring is this country producing?

College students need counseling and "comfort dogs" to help them deal with Donald Trump's victory?

In the late '60s and early '70s college students and others -- like myself -- opposed the war in Vietnam, marched in the streets and protested. We were hit with police batons, run over by horses, and at Kent State we were shot at and killed. No one asked for warm milk and cookies. We got up, wiped the blood away and regrouped. No hysterics, no coddling, no whining. We were strong.

This foolishness starts in elementary school. In my time when a child excelled in class you were given a gold star by the teacher. It made the other children strive harder to do better. Now everyone gets a gold star, because they don't want to hurt other children's feelings. What does that teach anyone? Fail and you still get rewarded? That is not how the real world works: It's fail and you are gone!

I can't believe what political correctness is doing to our country. It's as if everyone has gone insane and common sense has disappeared.

These college kids are so manipulated by left-leaning professors and their agenda. They no longer think for themselves. They were so positive that the "Clinton Machine" was going to win the election. But people who truly love this country saw the push was on for the Clintons by the mainstream media. Strong Americans came forward and said "no more of the same.

" They said "no" to the people who sold the White House, made deals with foreign governments for personal gain, and put our national security at risk. If these college students had used their brains and investigated Mrs. Clinton and her lies, they would be cheering Trump today and not protesting him.
