Campaigning in Spanish part of what's wrong in U.S.
Campaigning in Spanish part of what's wrong in U.S.
January 20, 2008
Will someone please help me? Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are advertising in Spanish in Nevada to get the Hispanic vote. Don't you have to speak, read and write English to become American citizens? If this is true, then why are they advertising in Spanish? Are they doing this to get the votes of the illegal aliens, who do not speak English, yet have enough illegal documentation to be able to cast an illegal ballot? I vote we change "America the beautiful" to "America the corrupt."
In Michigan, Mitt Romney, John McCain and Mike Huckabee blame the high unemployment there on everything and everyone else but where it truthfully lies. If 30 years ago, the CEOs of GM, Ford and Chrysler had downsized their cars, uplifted the quality and made them more economical, Toyota would not be No. 2 in this country, replacing Ford, and the auto industry in Detroit would have full employment. That's where the blame belongs.
It appears none of the front-running candidates of either party understand English. The majority of Americans want us out of Iraq now. Period. They also want secure borders and the illegal aliens encouraged to return south of the border, by not employing them, not giving them any services, education or health benefits. Yet the candidates take the opposite positions. Americans do not want them to become "illegal citizens."
Americans want their jobs back, and tariffs placed on everything out of China and other countries to balance the unfair advantage of their government subsidies and lower wages. With that in place, American manufacturers would not have any reason to produce overseas.
Americans want America back, but the politicians prefer giving America away.

Just saw on Fox News that Romney is to air ads in Fla on Spanish language TV!
He's damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't.
