Can Illegal immigrants use TIN numbers to work in the USA

The man that has been threatening with kidnapping my child had the nerve to tell me today that his employer told him that he can sign up my baby under his health care of course he needs my baby's SSN to do that ... I did not by it and asked how he can have health care if he is here illegally and using others people's SSN to work he said that he is using his TIN to work.

Those anyone know anything about how legal it is for a company to use the TIN for employment?

My own thoughts is that once he has the SSNO and has the child on his insurance, this gives him some clout with the courts and also may be under the advice from a lawyer?

If you go to your state for help with medical for your child, make sure you tell them "YES" when they ask if having contact with the father, causes you to feel scared or threatened (as you have stated, he makes threats to kidnap in the very least), and contact by the state, on your childs behalf could pose a risk for you and your child.

If it becomes an issue, and they give you a hard time, call on a womans abuse hotline for help, they will advocate for you.

No problem. Anytime someone tell you they plan to take your child, even if it is the estranged other parent, it is a threat and should not be taken lightly.

Social security numbers are an open door to much trouble in the wrong hands.

JohnDoe2 you are corect it is used for tax purposes. I had one when I was here going through the process legally. There are many restaurants and mall stores that use those so they can take off income tax to avoid being caught hiring illegals.

No, since I found out that he was using me for the Green card I left him when I was six weeks pregnant and baby has my last name and my father's name but he asked the Judge for changing the baby's name.

What is an ITIN?
