    Can Police stop them and check them?Mexican trucks?

    Mollohan said the Cross-Border Demonstration Program would give Mexican truck drivers unfettered access to the United States without a way to verify their identity, immigration status and length of stay in the United States. It is also unclear which law enforcement personnel will have the responsibility, authority and training to check a Mexican driver’s status and enforce compliance with the federal laws once they are in the United States.

    My guess would be if they do not (driver and truck) meet the requirements outline in the Department Public Safety Commercial Drivers license hand book – Then they are to be ticketed and or searched. And if they do not have a ID that a cop can understand then they should be held. - it should have been laid out before they came across –

    Wonder what they would do with the 84 "relief" drivers they find riding in the back?
