The right leaning bastions of the American Public, whether here in Eastern Washington or any many other parts of the United States, are not happy with the candidates of the Republican Party so far this season. Many want more said about illegal immigration and a hardline taken.

Newt Gingrich’s slam to Candidate Romney about his callous stance towards illegal immigrants didn’t do him any good in the polls. Yet the supposedly heartless Romney is mainly tiptoeing around the Immigration debate and is a long ways from being callous!

Candidate Rick Santorum appears to be the strongest candidate on illegal immigration yet even his is a watered down stance.

Candidate Santorum: The American public is waiting to hear you say:

Jobs in the United States will be done by those here legally first and then, if and only if there aren’t enough legal employees, the work visa program will be resumed and enhanced as necessary.

Illegal immigrants who came here illegally last month or last year or even a few years ago will be “encouraged” to leave our country; and if the encouragement doesn’t work, then they will be removed.

The magnet of American Jobs will be removed by truly enforcing the already-on-the-books employer sanctions laws.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will tremendously increase enforcement of the Immigration Laws in the interior of the United States.

that he is afraid for the safety of the American public because of the horrendous violence being executed by the Mexican Drug Cartels only yards from our soil as it’s only a matter of time before that ghastly violence, now seen just across the border, floods into the United States.

Most candidates would never say such statements because they are afraid of losing the Hispanic vote. But truly illegal immigration hurts many of the legal immigrants’ ability to work for a livable wage.

Immigration raids have been held at many warehouses here in Eastern Washington and the following day hundreds of legal employees were lined up to replace those removed. Similar results are seen across the United States when illegal immigrants are arrested and removed from employment sources.

The American economy is stagnant at best with the unemployment rate still being very high, the American public is waiting to hear from a candidate who is willing to step across the line and make a real stance on illegal immigration!

If Candidate Santorum takes a truly uncompromising stance on illegal immigration, his chance for success in the Republican Primary will increase dramatically.
