House Republican Leader Eric Cantor told a gathering of chief executive officers and university leaders that the U.S. must grant visas to skilled workers from overseas more quickly to halt an “exodusâ€

There's an exodus of SKILLED workers because they are also being forced to subsidize tens of millions of uneducated, unskilled illegal aliens! Americans are also getting out of here.
It boggles my mind as to why the gov cares more for illegal aliens than imimgrants who actually contribute to our economy/society! DEPORT the illegals!!

Why should we bring in skilled workers from outside the country? I'm sure we can either find or train skilled workers right here! I imagine that part of the problem is that employers believe they can get away with paying non-citizens less, but I think they underestimate how desperate many Americans are for meaningful work!

As far as I am concerned it is not negotiable. Microsoft, INTEL, AMD, Apple...all of these guys along with GE, have been selling out the US workers at all levels. I do not believe we should tolerate for one instant throwing ANYONE under the bus because a deal need to get done. That type of thinking is exactly why we have the economic and social problems we have today. It is unfair, it is wrong, and it is illegal. If companies are lying to the feds about their needs at whatever skill level, it is a violation of the law and should not be tolerated. This is why the RNC needs to be cleaned out. As bad as the DNC and Obama are, at the end of the day what the hell is the difference between them and Cantor, Boehner, McConnell if they are all liars and all are selling out the country?Quote:
