Alert! President Obama announces support for amnesty!

President Obama has reiterated his support for an amnesty for illegal aliens. His White House website announces his intention to "bring people out of the shadows" and "support a system that allows undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine, learn English, and go to the back of the line for the opportunity to become citizens."

Of course, we know that granting this amnesty means that those who have broken our laws will move to the front of the line, bypassing those who did not cheat.

For too long, politicians in Washington have exploited the immigration issue to divide the nation rather than find real solutions. Our broken immigration system can only be fixed by putting politics aside and offering a complete solution that secures our border, enforces our laws, and reaffirms our heritage as a nation of immigrants.

Create Secure Borders: Protect the integrity of our borders. Support additional personnel, infrastructure and technology on the border and at our ports of entry.

Improve Our Immigration System: Fix the dysfunctional immigration bureaucracy and increase the number of legal immigrants to keep families together and meet the demand for jobs that employers cannot fill.

Remove Incentives to Enter Illegally: Remove incentives to enter the country illegally by cracking down on employers who hire undocumented immigrants.

Bring People Out of the Shadows: Support a system that allows undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine, learn English, and go to the back of the line for the opportunity to become citizens.

Work with Mexico: Promote economic development in Mexico to decrease illegal immigration.

If Obama promotes Amnesty...this proves to me that he is corrupt... and should prove it to anyone else. The devil always makes it seem as though you are getting benefits for sin as he leads to on the path of destruction.

NO AMNESTY, ENFORCE OUR LAWS...RESTORE THE RULE OF LAW...like you said you wanted to do... or is this only when it suits you Obama?!!!!!!!!

I think they will have a shock coming there way. When 60% of Democrats are against amnesty. I think they will absolutely not know what to do. If they pass it and not listen to the American citizen, the Dems are toast in 2010.

I also added this to the fax; IA's should be held responsible for getting themselves and their families into this mess NOT rewarded with Amnesty or be allowed to use the tired excuse "Deportation Breaks Up Families" since nothing prevents them from taking their families with them if they can no longer find work due to E-Verify or are forcibly deported !!
