Because of the budget crisis, CA will be substantially slashing spending at college campuses that will, as a matter of necessity, have higher tuition and reduced course offerings. Don't think for a second, however, that many of our politicians will miss an opportunity to hand out scarce taxpayer money to illegal aliens at those schools.

If any taxpayer money goes to tuition for illegals then ALL federal funding should be stopped for that school or institution. Also any illegal who gets a diploma or degree of any type should have it nulified and revoked.
In a sense, tax payer money does go to illegals in my state of CA because illegals do receive in-state tuition, if illegally squatting in CA; while tax paying American citizens residing out of state must pay out of state tuition rates.Quote:

There has to be a way of solving this problem with out punishing the American students. Since the Federal government claims ownership of the illegal immigrant issue, they should have a federal law stipulating that no illegal immigrant is allowed to attend any higher education school, period. This should apply across the board to all states.

the feds have no mandate , constitutional or otherwise to interfere in schools , They only have the authority which they gave themselves , nowhere in the constitution is there any right to "education" or schooling of any kind.
If its not in there, it has to be delegated to the several states.
As per the constitution , the states also have the RIGHT to regulate immigration.
The feds can run a post office , negotiate contracts and treaties with foreign powers and raise a standing army to protect the homeland which sadly they are failing to do.
The fact that they CANNOT get a job that applies to their degree after graduation is just as good as having it revoked. This just shows the stupidity of those who are willing to throw their $$$ at the futures of people who cannot legally use their degree after graduation.Quote:

In the middle of the fertalizer storm there is often bright spots, people who are willing to make the tough decision, it may make a few upset but still is for the betterment of the whole. Old saying is ...after a fertalizer storm..a large crop will spring up. If we keep pushing to deport all illegals, our country WILL be stronger in the end.
