CBP Announces Temporary Closures - Small Boating Locations
Release Date: April 3, 2020
DETROIT – Based on the President’s determination, as part of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP’s) continued effort to combat the spread of COVID-19 via travel across our borders, we are assisting Health and Human Services in implementing their authority under Title 42, U. S. Code 265 in accordance with existing Title 8 authority and prohibiting the entry of certain persons into the United States.
Therefore, the Detroit Field Office announces the temporary closure of small boat reporting locations and reminds travelers that routine small vessel travel for pleasure is non-essential.

Effective immediately, the following small boating locations will be temporarily closed for CBP processing, and ROAM iPADs will not be installed, until further notice:
- Mount Clemens - Metro Beach Public Marina
- Detroit - Erma Henderson Park
- Trenton - Elizabeth Park
- Lexington – Lexington Harbor
- Port Huron – River St. Marina
- Algonac – Algonac Harbor Club
- Saulte Ste Marie – Kemp Marina
- Drummond Island – Yacht Haven Marina
- Rogers City – Municipal Marina
- Mackinac Island

Now close ALL our Ports to cruise ships who are not registered in this country or paying taxes here!
They need to take those cruise ships and dock them where they are registered.
Trump and the Coast Guard need to send out the messages...do NOT come to the United States you will be refused entry. Go dock at home port!
