This is the survey that leads you to believe what the employment rate is. It is a big farce. They demand to know your income, all details about the construction of your home, what race you think you are, the number of hours you worked last week, the name and address of you employer and many other questions …. they will knock on your door once a month for four months and then after eight months they will come back for another four months.
The Census Bureau is part of the Department of Commerce. It is all about business. Business wants this and any other information about you because they know they can make money off your information.
The census people are not bound by 'no trespassing' signs of any kind. You can call the police and the police will worn you. Be very careful what you say in front of anyone as you can be held liable, slander and or for assault . Never …. Never touch a person for the census as they would like to take you to court for assault .
I lasted a full year but it was hard as I did need some extra income but I just could not continue with something I felt was wrong. I am still sorry I lasted as long as I did.... I apologize. :(
