Angry A Chicano Response to Donald Trump

    “Pa Pendejo No Se Estudia!”

    By Herman Baca
Many persons have asked me what my political opinion is of presumptive Republican (the white) Party Presidential candidate Donald Trump. My response is the old Mexican saying, “Pa’ pendejo no se estudia’!” For Trump’s Republican voters & supporters, Winston Churchill’s quote;“The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.”
However the real opinion is what does the Chicano/Mexicano/Latino community say of Donald Trump? In casual conversations with every day people their response is one of personal anger, fury & hatred for Trump. Some of the comments expressed to me are: “Es un pendijo, idiota, pinche gringo, where’s El Chapo when you need him, kiss my brown a#s, and a graffiti wall off I-5 in Logan Heights declaring… F%&K Trump!”
So politically what does Trump’s candidacy, & possible presidency mean to us? First that Trump has made us his piñata for his campaign. Second, are what Donald Trump’s politics represents (say Hitler-fascist), the Republican Party (say white party), supporters (say white supremacists), immigration (say MEXICAN), his rhetoric, “Mexicans rapists, murderers, and drug dealers” (say racist), proposals to, “build a great, great wall on our southern border and have Mexico pay” (say dumb), & deport 11 million mainly Mexican “illegal aliens,” (say apartheid, ethnic cleansing, police state, gestapo, race wars.)
What is Trump’s political agenda? First is his declaration of war against all persons of Mexican ancestry (160 million) in the U.S./Mexico, & 368 million Latinos of Central & South America. Fascism (Hitler) & white supremacy, a fact confirmed by the endorsements of the KKK, Border Patrol Union, Nazis, skin heads, NASCAR, NRA, police unions, & hate mongers such as Arizona Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, Ex-Governor Jan Brewer, & Congressman, Duncan Hunter, Jr., etc. To deport 11 million (predominately Mexicans) “illegal” aliens,” after Obama deported 3 million, that is a contrivance (as all past deportation have been) to keep Mexican workers in a right less state & 60 million US Chicanos/Latinos disfranchised. Convert all law enforcement agencies (including the military) into a Gestapo force, & the U.S. into a police/apartheid state.
“Make America Great Again,” the last gasps of white supremacy & a slogan for white supremacist to attempt to turn the clock back to the 1950’s? The 1950’s was a supreme time for white Americans when they comprised 89% of the population. Segregation was the law of the land, the KKK ruled & signs in public stated, “No Mexicans, NI&$@*S, or Dogs allowed.” Blacks got hung for simple looking at white women, Mexicans were in the fields, women in the kitchen, gays in the closet, & Native Americans on reservations.
Obviously no one has informed Trump and his supporters that no one is going back to the 50’s, and that they will be the MINORITY!What has caused white people to support Trump’s fascism, & white supremacist demagoguery? Political pundits first attributed Trump’s surprising victories to, crazy crack pot white fringe Republican tea party type voters.
Today national polls have Trump beating Democratic Clinton? The reason “white mainline voters,” 53% of men, 34% women, 40% college degree professionals, 39% independents & fundamentalists Christians supporting Trump nationally. In spite of Trump calling women, “fat pigs, dogs, snobs and disgusting animals,” stating “wages were too high,” for workers, Pope Francis (unbelievably) stating; “Donald Trump is a Nazi and if some American people like him, then I’m very sorry, but they are Nazis, and Republican leaders such as Paul Ryan, Bush family, Mitt Romney, etc., are not endorsing him. So have millions of white Americans simple lost their minds, gone crazy, or are they driven by some primeval fear?
In my opinion, the only rational political reason for white people supporting Trump is …DEMOGRAPHICS! A historical population shift in the U.S. (confirmed by the U.S. census) that by 2041 whites Americans will become the nation’s minority population & lose power!
The Historical Political Problem: While the reasons are numerous (conquest, racism, discrimination, etc.), politically the 2 basic reasons after the U.S./Mexico War of 1848 were, 1) our small numbers, in 1850 we numbered but 116,943, or 0.5%, in 1950 (100 years later) 3,231,409 or 2.1% of the total U.S. population and, 2) Mexicans simply were denied the right to vote because of English language requirements, and violent intimidation.
In 2016 our population has exploded to 60 million and we still have little or no political POWER. The reasons again are numerous, but the main reason is we do not have …organized people & money, which is the basis of all political power. No power means that Chicanos/Latinos can comprise 40% of the population in San Diego County, & cannot elect one Supervisor. At the national level we are unable to hold President Obama accountable, after our votes got him elected in his last two elections. The only difference I see with the upcoming 2016 election (since 184 is that Republican Trump has declared open war on us, our children & future generations.
So what about Clinton or Sanders? My short range opinion is, Trump must be stopped & like the old saying states, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” So vote for anyone who you personally think will defeat Trump.
My long range historical view after 50 years when I started with (MAPA) the Mexican American Political Association & La Raza Unida Party is, every four years I hear the same old dead end “claptrap,” from His/Her “Panics” so-called political leaders, & even some Chicano movement leaders who urge our people to vote for the, “lesser of the two evils,” or the “best of the worst” presidential candidates.
One has to ask if we number 60 million (17% of the total population), why do we act like we are only 7 million? Politically, the only historical solution I see to end the above is: our peoples own political self-determination. Then and only then will we be able to build the infrastructure to have organized people/money to build the social, economic and political power necessary to deal with the historical issues/problems that afflict our people.
So what can Chicanos/Mexicanos/Latinos do to STOP TRUMP?

    • If demographics has caused white supremacists to shake in their boots, keep having babies.
    • Register/vote for the (6-7-16) CA Primary & (11-8-16) Presidential elections to defeat Trump & any other politicians (especially Duncan Hunter) who endorsed or support Trump.
    • Let the National Republican Party know that a vote for Trump will not be forgotten & will be the death of the national Republican Party, like when Ex. Governor Pete Wilson killed the CA Republican Party after his support for Prop. 187.
    • Take a stand, voice your opinion, protest, march, or?

In closing, to the shrinking and aging white Americans that are supporting & will vote for Trump’s fascism & white supremacy, the age old proverb; “be careful what you wish for.” To the young Chicano/Mexicano/Latino who will soon to be the majority population, “you have already won and don’t know it, but your grandchildren will.”

Every American patriot ought to read through this brainless screed. It is a perfect example of what we are dealing with. Opinions are stated as if they were empirical facts --any similarities to logical thinking are purely coincidental.

They love to throw around the racists and Nazi crap as if it were indisputable. Well here are a few historical facts that can be easily confirmed: In the Second World War, the real battle against real Nazis, Mexico was absent. Although they officially declared war against Hitler’s Germany they made as close to a zero contribution as it is possible to get. There was something like a few airplanes and pilots who fought in the Pacific in I believe one engagement where 2 Mexicans got killed. That is it. That was the Mexican contribution to fighting real Nazis (Nazi allies).

I had 6 uncles who were in the military in WWII. One was, on separate occasions, three times wounded fighting in the Philippines against Imperial Japan ( the allies of Nazi Germany). He lost his left hand and two fingers on the right. He had Malaria and shrapnel in is body and they though we would die (but he didn’t). I had one uncle who died at the Battle of the Bulge. He was draft exempt but volunteered to join the Army. Another uncle fought across Europe from Normandy to Prague Czechoslovakia. I come from a whole generation (those of the 1950’s he sneers at) who have family histories similar to my own. I was in the Army in Europe during the Cold War as was my brother. My nephew was in Desert Storm.

Dear Jose or what the hell ever your name is, when your ancestors were safe sitting on their asses mine were dieing, suffering and being crippled fighting the Nazis. Shove your Nazi crap back to where it comes form.

It is best that I and this Mexican piece of crap never meet because, old man that I am, it could become very ugly. And old man that I am, I would win.

To the young Chicano/Mexicano/Latino who will soon to be the majority population, “you have already won and don’t know it, but your grandchildren will.”

Unfortunately, that is true & if the truck is not put in reverse now, all the more true. That is the plan, "explode with babies", take advantage of birthright citizenship as it is being interpreted and the gov't & businesses getting a multitude of dumb consumers at the cost of ruining America.

The south of the border youth have been trained, albeit by a comic book, how to invade, what to say, where to go, have anchor babies which they ALL do, etc. But this does not happen w/o the sanction of our sleazy despicable leaders in our gov't.

Artist, I have long believed that birthright citizenship is the elephant in the room in regards to illegal immigration in this country. As we focus, rightly, on the illegal population, the majority of these people will soon be legal, all because they are given citizenship at birth. The rising Latino vote is largely due to children of illegal aliens being legally able to vote. You are right; it is imperative that birthright citizenship must be put in reverse!

No such thing as an Anchor Baby...never was. It is a political football that has been kicked around long enough and the Courts need to make it clear.

"All non-citizens who give birth on US Soil whether here on vacation, a Visa, here illegally or otherwise shall be issued a "Certificate of Child Born Abroad". No US Birth Certificate...NO eligibility for taxpayer funded benefits."

If they are here illegally they should be handed over into the care and custody of THEIR Embassy for deportation. Let their county pay the costs.

No school, no job, no housing, no welfare, no food stamps, no medical, no driver's license, no court, no judge, no lawyer, no law suit, no rights, no detention. One-way ticket out!

This is a quote from the Mexican article. “If demographics has caused white supremacists to shake in their boots, keep having babies.” So for those who are naïve and still don’t get it, what Mr. Mexico is promoting is a GENOCIDE of the Caucasian race to push them to extinction by propagation of non whites. It is Nazism in the reverse direction. Yet this hypocrite calls real Americans “Nazis.”

Because they keep having babies their grandchildren will be thirsty and hungry. We will not be able to feed them all and water is becoming scarce in many parts of the USA.

Exactly . And why their birth rate is higher than native Americans is because they get everything paid for by the working taxpayers : free prenatal care, labor and delivery costs, car seats, diapers , WIC , EBT card, Medicaid , Medicaid dental, free lunches in the schools , college scholarships ... from birth onwards, anchor babies receive these benefits, rather than their parents providing for them. Birthright citizenship's got to go !!
