This may trump even illegal immigration. We are giving the Chinese the rope which which they will hang us. BOYCOTT EVERYTHING CHINESE (IF YOU CAN).

China is threat U.S. must take very seriously
America is `main enemy,' being targeted militarily, economically

America's understandable preoccupation with terrorism and Iraq may have obscured the gathering threat of China as a formidable adversary.
At an Asian security conference in Singapore, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld last week delivered what some called an unusually blunt critique of China. Rumsfeld said Beijing's military spending threatens Asia's delicate security balance. Instead of spending so much on weapons, Rumsfeld said, China should emphasize political freedom and open markets.
"Since no nation threatens China," said Rumsfeld, "one wonders why this growing (military) investment?" The answer is that rather than feeling threatened, China intends to threaten others.
In a brilliant new book by the late Constantine Menges, Ph.D., titled "China: The Gathering Threat," the former special assistant for national security affairs to President Reagan and national intelligence officer at the CIA soberly outlines the threat China has become and persuasively argues how America can use its economic and moral weapons to stop the world's biggest nation without a shot being fired.
Menges writes that China has defined America as its "main enemy" and can now launch nuclear weapons at the United States that are capable of killing 100 million of us. China's effective espionage operation in the U.S. has managed to steal the designs of nearly all nuclear warheads and other military secrets, he says.
China has threatened to destroy entire American cities if the U.S. helps Taiwan defend itself against a military assault or invasion, Menges writes. China also buys weapons from Russia that are designed to sink U.S. aircraft carriers. It controls more than $200 billion in U.S. debt and sells more than 40 percent of its exports to America, using the profits to strengthen its economy and advanced weapons systems aimed at the U.S.
Until recently, U.S. policy has been to give China access to U.S. markets in hopes that might reduce tensions and hasten democratic reform. It has done no such thing. Menges argues it is time to try another approach.
First, he says, the U.S. must finish development of a reliable missile defense system that can be easily expanded should China, Russia or any nation try to overwhelm us by building more missiles. Menges says the cost of expanding a missile defense system is far less than building new missiles and such cost will be prohibitive to enemy nations once they realize the U.S. can't be successfully attacked.
Without a working missile defense system, he writes, the increased number of warheads and missiles now available and under construction will make the Chinese threat substantial -- he estimates by 2008, China will have more than 400 warheads capable of reaching U.S. territory.
Menges believes in "the importance of forthrightly informing the world about U.S. interests and actions. Truth is indeed the best policy." He thinks the U.S. often fails to respond to charges by China and Russia that America seeks world domination.
He says we should be telling the world it is China and Russia that are spreading weapons of mass destruction and China's actions "demonstrate that while pursuing active commercial diplomacy to enhance its economic development and mostly avoiding visible conflict, China is also an expansionist, coercive, manipulative dictatorship."
As anyone who has bought anything can attest, the United States is fulfilling one of Lenin's doctrines by purchasing the rope with which the communists plan to hang us. Too many things sold in America are made in China and too many corporations have moved their plants and operations to China, undermining the U.S. domestic economy.
One of many countermeasures Menges recommended is the expulsion of all companies that function as fronts for the Chinese People's Liberation Army or other military or intelligence-related entities in China, Russia or any other nonallied state. Hundreds of such front companies in Southern California alone are estimated to exist.
Rumsfeld's remarks and Menges' book reveal China's commitment to expanding its empire by intimidation and force, and how the U.S. had better take China's seriousness seriously if we are to repel it.

ScareCrow!! GREAT POST!!
I know....China is big trouble.
DON'T SPEND, SAVE!!
Get your credit cards paid down as quickly as possible. Do not buy anything from anyone that is not essential or that can be reasonably avoided or postponed that is not 100% American Made and the company is not part of this problem, like a funder of National Council of La Raza, like China, like the Open Borders Lobby.
There are odd alliances in play right now world-wide.
I think Soros, the money currency manipulation king of the world, has something to do with the Chinese hoarding dollars....$600,000,000,000. That's $600 BILLION CASH $$$$.
For example, someone posted earlier about Toyota raising prices to "help GM recover". But Honda wasn't.
The engine in Hondas is a General Motors Engine, developed by them years ago, and shelved because their "TOP DOG MORONS" didn't think the American People would EVER give up their Big Cars, so they "licensed" the technology to Honda and receive royalties and payment for every Honda sold. The Honda is and has been the biggest selling small car in the history of the United States. OUR AMERICAN ENGINEERS designed that beautiful engine. It is not Japanese "technology", it is American Technology, pawned off to Japan.
GM is probably the reason Honda didn't follow suit with Toyota.
That's "easy money" for GM they want to keep flowing. If anyone has any current information on the present relationship between GM and Honda, please post it.
AND, why would Toyota raise their prices to help out "GM"?
That is odder than odd.
Give ME a break!!

A couple of months ago, I thought China was behind Mexico's policy toward the United States. I wonder....!
If our government is pro-globalism, what better way to try to over-whelm the American People than create the illusion that China wants us too?
If such an odd remark for Rumsfeld to make at a time we were are working with China to do something about the North Koreans.
If is just a VERY ODD disclosure.....out of the blue. I mean, we all know China is the super power of the Asian World and one of two now in the whole world.
What point was he trying to make?
The government won't tell us what they're up to with Mexico but out of the BLUE we're to suddenly "fear" China as if they are waiting to imperialize US?
China doesn't have to beat us militarily, they are beating us economically.
Why would Rumsfeld through out such an odd remark over the public wire?
It doesn't make sense.
Another totally bizarre development.
Now, we're all to sit and wonder and worry about China blowing us to bits?
Last week or the week before the same man, Rumsfeld, wanted to close 29 military bases in the United States and reduce 33 others? Well, did he just find out that China is a major super power that might want a piece of us some day, "seriously"? Well why would you reduce your military bases IF you were "seriously" worried about an invasion from China?
Conclusion: They are going to sell us out to China!
Why else would two totally conflicting developments occur from the Defense Department two weeks apart?
1) Closing Bases
2) While Seriously Concerned About China Invading US
Further Conclusion: Their "plan" is falling apart because of ALIPAC and Friends, so they've decided to shop US to the highest bidder for CASH. China is saving the $600,000,000,000 to buy US from Soros Hedge Funds who probably hold the paper on the United States national debt.
Bush, Soros, Rockerfeller and all the other Wacko Crones will make a TERMINATION FEE. Because the new "Chinerica" might still hold some hostility towards them, they'll relocate and retire in a nice section of Mexico with the other 11 Billionaires.
Just Kidding....Kinda!
Look for explanations for the otherwise inexplicable folks. We're close to finishing the puzzle....but there's something we've missed.
Rumsfeld is worried about China and nuclear war, but the El Presidio is worried about Social Security payments in 2042.

China and their recent economic gains and their moving towards a modern professional military scares the s--- out of me. I really fear a conflict with them will occur in our lifetimes, its only a matter of time.

Don't forget all those secret super/nano/genetic weapons they have a multi-billion dollar obsession with developing.
Our high-tech airport screening devices could be rendered useless!

A large percentage of manufacturing companies in China are owned by the Peoples Liberation Army, and they employ slave labor in many, using political dissidents etc.
I have long felt that all toys ya buy from Wal-Mart should be required to have a sticker saying "Thank you for buying from the PLA... A toy for your child today is a bullet for for your child tomorrow".

It is very logical, really. China is the world's most populous country and will soon be the world's largest economy, largely at our expense. Their demand for oil, minerals and other raw materials will grow exponentially. They don't have the raw materials, so they have to get them elsewhere. They will start pushing and shoving to get what they need.
We are financing our own destruction if we do not do something now. Why can't the rest of the country see the obvious? Bill Clinton gave them secrets which enabled them to build better guided missles. They have been stealing us blind for years, taking our technology to use against us.
If anyone here thinks this is "sky is falling" rhetoric, just sit back and watch what happens over the next few years. The Chinese government is a brutal, repressive Communist dictatorship. They are not our friends and never will be. The only way to deal with countries like this is to defeat them, either economically or militarily. Appeasement is the sure route to destruction.
With the Mexicans invading from the south, and the Chinese taking our jobs, America will soon be in a fight for its existence as a free and prosperous nation. We are in fact already in that fight, it's just that most Americans are too busy sucking their thumbs in front of "American Idol" or TV sports to know or care. We are a nation of sheep and we will be led to the slaughter unless someone wakes us up.
That is our job folks. I am going to start yelling "Fire" until somebody in this country can start to see the flames. When we gonna wake up?
