I just a real quick blurb on Special Report with Bret Baier that Chris Simcox of MCDC was considering running for John McCain’s Senate seat.

Yes I have heard this reported on various Fox news reports today. I just hope the ACORN crowd and the Laraza's don't galvanize their troops, otherwise he will have no chance of beating McAmnesty.
GOOD!
We need to get McCain out of office or he needs to re-register as a Democrap.
See ya John, too bad you voted yes to the Stimulus, that closed the coffin lid on you.
Minuteman To Challenge McCain In PrimaryQuote:

Immigrants new to this country need to learn what freedom is and how you go about keeping it. They need to learn to speak our language to be a productive part of our work force. For American citizenship to have real, lasting meaning, we must reject the amnesty that causes even more to come here illegally, we must secure our borders and create a legal immigration system built on a rubric of national security and economics with the welfare and job security of the American citizen first and foremost in the design.
Smith reports that Simcox plans to formally announce his candidacy at an event at the Mexican border tomorrow; in a release, he will say that McCain "has failed miserably in his duty to secure this nation's borders and protect the people of Arizona from the escalating violence and lawlessness."
McCain, long known as a moderate on immigration, gave up on his immigration reform legislation during the Republican primary campaign.
Did you guys know that Arizona (John McCain's territory) is the second largest kidnapping location in the WORLD !! Believe it or not, I saw this story on the Communist News Network (CNN).... two weeks ago... I've researched it on the net, and it is true.
You go to bed tonight, and tomorrow morning your 13 year old daughter might be completely gone.................. Nice leadership John McCain... what else you got in store for Arizonians??????

Yes, between he and Nappy they really left AZ in a huge mess. I heard Phoenix is the the kidnap capital of America. Nice work guys!Quote:

I was wondering why Simcox suddenly became a Dreamie last month. He was just preparing for a future in politics and that usually involves selling your soul to win an election. Oh well, anyone is better than Captain McAmnesty, but that doesn't mean I'll donate to Simcox' campaign and he needs a lot of donations to compete with Captain McAmnesty's war chest that will be filled to the brim with Big Ag cash.

Yep, the closer you are to Mexico; the closer you are to die. One can only wonder if that is the ultimate goal of our esteemed US Senate and Congress...... the faster they kill the few true Americans off; the faster they get their drug cartel loot.... Damn... we have a President right now who doesn't feel compelled to tell us if he is truly eligible to be President.. The arrogant dude won't even allow his college transcripts to be released.... or college applications where he applied for government funding to be released. You know those transcripts that say your country of origin???? So give me money, I'm not from the US...
And CNN if you're watching, lolol.... George Bush was a complete moron, idiot too.... At least he was eligible to run for President of the US; although definitely not qualified.
Some people in Tucson know Simcox and speak very favorably about him. I don’t know him personally.
At the Tucson Tea Party, I met Mr. Jim Deakin who stated he plans to run against McCain. www.jimdeakin.com
I also met Jesse Kelly who plans to run against Giffords for U.S. Congress.
www.votejessekelly.com
I was very impressed with both gentlemen.
On another note…….
I find it scarey that our two senators (McCain/Kyl) have to sit on a panel to further discuss issues concerning the border and violence when they are fully aware of what is going on or what needs to be done. Beef up border security, state officials urge
http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/ ... l#comments
McCain/Kyl are still pushing Comprehensive Immigration Reform under their breath.
Napolitano requested the National Guard back to our southern borders, while she was Governor. Why? She fully knows that it was working when the National Guard WAS there. Then she had to waste more time and money going to the border to review what is going there?
More meetings, more discussions, more conferences, more consideration, more consultations, more debates, more deliberations, more examination, more analysis, more dialogue, more disputes, more wrangling.
We are begging for the National Guard and DHS continues to refuse us.
Arizona's request for border troops was denied
http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/ ... ugwar.html
I just want to know where Simcox stands on the issue of illegal immigration and Amnesty? Is he worse or the same as Mc Cain?

Just remember one thing..... and never forget it !!!!! Our President, Our Congress will never never move one foot, unless it directly benefits them as individuals... they could give a s*** about you and me, your children, my children. Unless they make some money off of it personally, they will not lift a finger for us.
Just think of our Congress as the Village of the Dammed... they are eaten up with corruption.
Simcox would be a vast improvement - see below!Quote:

Breaking News
Minuteman founder Simcox to run against McCain
By Jim Small, jim.small@azcapitoltimes.com
Chris Simcox, founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, has his sights set on John McCain's Senate seat.
Sen. John McCain will face a challenge from the right in next year's Republican primary, as one of the country's most prominent border hawks will announce his candidacy for Arizona's Senate seat on April 22.
Chris Simcox, who founded the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, will file campaign paperwork today to formalize his challenge of McCain, who has angered conservative Republicans for his stances on a variety of issues - most prominantly, illegal immigration and border security.
Simcox will represent a stark contrast in Republican ideology compared to that of McCain, said Eric Johnson, a senior advisor to Simcox and former staffer for Don Goldwater's gubernatorial campaign in 2006.
"He is a true, conservative Republican. His platform is what it should be," Johnson said.
Some of McCain's clashes with conservatives in the Republican Party include his sponsoring 2006 effort in Congress to reform American immigration policies and allow a "pathway to citizenship" for millions of immigrants in the country illegally. He also spearheaded campaign finance reform in 2002 and has supported efforts to limit sales of firearms at gun shows.
Johnson said Simcox's proven ability to organize a grassroots campaign will give him an advantage over McCain. And Robert Kiley, a California political consultant who will manage the campaign, said Simcox's national profile will allow him to raise the $10 million to $15 million needed to take on the entrenched senator.
"We don't think there's going to be an issue raising money," Kiley said. "There's a lot of anger out there."
Although Kiley and Johnson touted Simcox's stances on other GOP issues, such as abortion and gun control, they said immigration will play a larger role in the campaign. Simcox will push to secure the border immediately by using the National Guard. But unlike in President Bush's 2006 Operation Jump Start, in which thousands of guardsmen were sent to the border to support the Border Patrol, Simcox wants the soldiers to take an active role in stopping illegal activity and detaining people who are trying to enter the country illegally.
Johnson said the campaign also will target voters who have left the Republican Party in recent years because of dissatisfaction with elected officials whom they believe abandoned the party's principles.
"There are a lot of people who left Republicans and became independent because of McCain," Johnson said.
I will be supporting Chris Simcox 1,000%.
McCain is a tyrant. He has done everything he can to FORCE tens of millions of job thieves, identity thieves, child rapists, drug dealers, burglars and other third world people on our country.

Simcox looking to oust McCain?
American Patrol Report -- April 21, 2009
Chris Simcox is going to run against John McCain for Senate in the Republican Primary. The Republican Party is known as the stupid party, I don’t think they are that stupid. Simcox is a con man and a pathological liar. He and his partners-in-crime have fleeced the American People out of hundreds of thousands of dollars to build a border fence that could never have been built.
It will be very interesting to see how the drive-by media handle this little hot potato.
Seems like a read an article on here a week or so ago that quoted Chris Simcox saying he supported an eventual path to legalization (amnesty) for some illegal aliens. Furthermore, I definitely remember reading that he now supports the Dream Act, which we all know is also amnesty for illegals. Simcox is getting soft on illegal immigration. Of course his political aspirations probably have a lot to do with that. It is quickly becoming apparant that he has no qualms about selling us and his principles down the river for political office. Someone that talks out of both sides of their mouth can't be trusted!
I'm hopeful there will be another option besides McCain and Simcox.

Do not forget that AmericanPatrol has always been in competition with Simcox's group for public donations.
I am not saying there is anything wrong with American Patrol, but the facts are the facts.
Personally, I don't like Simcox. I think he's a scam artist - a fraud. The fence MCDC collected money for was never finished. It still remains less than 25% complete.
All personal feelings aside, Simcox has been looking for a compromise with regards to the illegal immigration population since at least December of 2007. Here are a few quotes and links for you to read and judge for yourself where he stands and if you want to support his beliefs.
December 2007
The Hard Work of Compromise: America Needs a Comprehensive Immigration Policy
Yet Simcox agreed with others that society cannot afford the kind of social friction that immigration debates create. "We're all victims of government failure -- in Arizona and in Washington, D.C.," he said. "We need a compromise. And I'm willing to lead that compromise."

Issue Clash: Immigration
Simcox Answers Questions:
Q: What stance should the U.S. government take regarding the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S?
A: It is against the law to enter the U.S. without authorization. Anyone discovered to be in the U.S. illegally, who has committed a crime, has stolen someone's identity, or has obtained false documents should be deported and never allowed to reenter the U.S. for any reason. The major problem we have is what to do with the children who were brought into the U.S. illegally. If they have been here since they were a child, they should be allowed to be put on a fast track to gain citizenship. Immediately declaring that the 14th Amendment does not grant automatic birthright citizenship will cut off the magnet that attracts people to take advantage of our charity.
Q: President Obama says longtime undocumented immigrants should have a path to citizenship in the U.S. Do you agree?
A: On a case-by-case basis I would agree that if someone is found to be living in the U.S. illegally, has been gainfully employed, has paid their taxes and has not committed a crime, I feel that we certainly can make an exception. But this will be the last time, and I would only accept that after our borders are secured and illegal immigration is no longer an out of control problem.
Q: Should undocumented immigrants with children born in the U.S. be allowed to stay here?
A: First we must immediately end automatic birthright citizenship, and then proceed on a case-by-case basis. If the child is under the age of 18, then their parents should be allowed to stay in the U.S. to seek citizenship unless they commit a crime. However, if citizenship is not processed before the child turns 18, then the parents must then self-deport.

“They need to be brought out of the shadows. They need to be documented and swear an oath to become a citizen,â€
Well, Simcox's definitely didn't mince words. Obviously he is a supporter of 'comprehensive' immigration reform (amnesty). There should be no compromise on amnesty, not now, not ever!
Personally, I'm tired of folks in the news media parading Simcox out as our spokesman! The man definitely doesn't speak for me on the issue. :x
This sounds like McCain's "secure the border first" (then amnesty) position. Problem is that if we give amnesty again, history shows this will lead to more illegal immigration.Quote:

The article linked to in Dianne's first post above includes the info that the Phoenix Police Department has created a Home Invasion Task Force. Sounds like just what is needed on a national level. (Click on the Read Full Article link on that site.)
McCain is a hardened political veteran, Simcox is a neophyte. I think McCain will chew him up and spit him out, especially since Simcox is all over the place on his immigration positions.
I have a number of friends in Az and they are ALL voting for Simcox......unless someone better comes along. No way will they vote for McShame EVER AGAIN.
Overall though, I'm glad Simcox is challenging McCain.
So we have Toomey challenging Specter in PA and now Simcox challenging McCain in AZ. Two high profile challengers.
McCain needs to go. He has done a LOT of damage to our country and the Republican Party. I hope there is enough movement by conservatives to force the Republican Party back to the right.

I too think McCain is worse than Simcox. However, I'm sorry that the good people of Arizona are forced to side with the lesser of two evils on the issue of illegal immigration and border security. :roll:Quote:

One thing of note though, McCain has never painted himself as anything but an illegal alien amnesty supporter. Simcox on the other hand is doing some serious flip-flopping on illegal alien issues. Unfortunately his flopping is landing him on the dark side! Make no mistake about it, Simcox is an amnesty supporter too! Furthermore, Simcox is being very disingenuous. It would appear as if the man is compromising his principles to ehance his career opportunities. IMO, that makes him worse than McCain where personal integrity is concerned.
We must ALL get behind ONE candidate and support him/her if we want to no longer deal with McShame or anyone else. I met Jim Deakin at the Tucson Tea Party and was very impressed with him. I'm not sold on anyone just yet, but am concerned that not EVERYONE will get behind Simcox.
http://www.jimdeakin.com/
Jim Deakin for United States Senate
Secure Our Country First
Amnesty is not a solution to our problems
Amnesty hasn’t worked; there have been SEVEN (7) amnesty bills/extensions since 1986.
1. 1986 – Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) 2.8 Million illegal aliens in a “one time onlyâ€
If they both suck, I'm for change.
Vote in someone new!
Unseat EVERYONE! Vote in ALL NEW!
Carmen Mercer is taking the President's position with MCDC.
Not even MCDC will endorse Simcox. Carmen has made it perfectly clear.
I would love to see McClown gone, but I couldn't support Simcox. The guy is an absolute con artist in the Jim Gilchrist mode. He already has scammed people out of thousands of dollars of donations for that sorry excuse of a fence he's trying to build.
MCDC is a tax exempt non-profit, they cannot endorse political candidates.Quote:

Thanks for the info, I didn't know there were these different non-profit types.
Welcome.
Another difference is that donation to a 501c3 are tax deductible, whereas donations to a 501c4 are not.
There are some who believe a 501c4 should publicize endorsements of candidates. Here's the reasoning behind that:
Legal Capacities and Limitations
If we can get a viable candidate and get endorsements from some of the bigger influential groups out there, it could make a big difference.Quote:
However, a 501(c)(4) can (and should) announce its endorsements to the press – an effective way of letting a wider public know of its support. Although the organization can’t coordinate its endorsement with a campaign, the campaign may independently publicize the organization’s support. Influential 501(c)(4)s that have name recognition with the public should use this tactic to amplify their power to motivate voters.
I'm still waiting to hear that JD Hayworth is running. I think he'd do a terrific job.

Your right MW...I seen him on FOX news at the border and in the interview he said we needed CIR after the borders are closed.....they are already trying to convince us the borders are closed and we know they are not, but they will have to do this to get an amnesty through!Quote:
