Thread: Churchgoers-Got The Guts to Stand Up to Our Clergy?

How about the following: the words "the law" are "la ley" in Spanish...if they insist on a bilingual service, I could make up a placard saying
"La ley, la ley, la ley you must obey!" We could chant that at an illegal rally too!! I know I sound like a sick puppy!

Hang in there scaredrage im like you i might have made some mad not intended to.I hate it on here when you see party fighting when both political parties are at fault if you notice most of my post are not on the political sites and not here to fight about politics but to fight illegals not each other.people on here all have opinions and we got respect that.We all i thought was on this site for one thing.If i wanted to fight and argue about politics and religion id just drive down to corner market and sit down with the old men there.

So many of our beliefs are being turned topsey turvey. Everyone of us is having to readjust and revise who we are. All I have to do is look at the anger and hurt I see from my husband.

At one time we were secure in who we were and made decisions accordingly. We felt represented. Then one day we woke up wondering when did everything change. When did we become betrayed.

Gone is moderate Democrats, no more center left or center right. A betrayal of our political beliefs.

Gone is the purpose of why we joined unions. Collective bargaining in the workplace. Unions stolen by socialist and communist leaders who do not represent the rank and file.

Churches that get into politics and that have become to progressive.

No, we cannot fight each other because we are all that we have. We have to stand side by side as we try to sort this all out. We are all hurt and confused.

AMEN SHERRY gone are the days when people bellieved.The political world has gotten people all torn up.They have forgottened what has made this country what it is.Unoins made this country strong now people are turning against them.When the worker theirself have the right to choose to join or not.people has gottened caught up in what other people have and they dont.I believe jealousy has torn this country apart.I wasnt union because i was military but i dont critisize the ones that are.Without the unions the workers even nonunion workers wouldnt have the rights or pay that they have today.Union workers pay their own dues it dont come out of tax payers pockets they know that money goes to fight for workers rights to retain lawyers for actions needed negociations and yes to support some politicions even repuplicans just like in wisconsin fire and police backed walker.I have worked hard for what i have,i dont ask for much and i not jealous of the ones that have more than me im glad they can do well as long as they got it honest.This country has got in bad shape because of bad political decisions over several years from both parties people are stressed to their limits gas prices home morgage food cost illegals robbing us blind and some americans to dam lazy to work robbing it too so people have turn on each other.Thats what the rich want to do divide this country they have all the money now they want to control the people and when they do and they are trying they will have everything.But in the BIBLE in james i forget which verse it said the rich will control for awhile then the meek shall rise up and take it back i dont fight politics on here i fight illegals.It makes me sad when i see here blamming liberals or coservitives they are all at fault each party has had control at some point in time and have felled to do anything about immogration.

#1) I just wanted to clarify that I'm not one of those religious people who have a self-rightous attitude (except toward the illegals-rememember I said God is still working on me to love my enemies ). And #2) I think both political parties equally stink, both ultra conservative and ultra progressive, because one side wants to make us robots and the other side wants to get ultra rich with the consequence of making "the little people" live hand to mouth or maybe not even get by and have no conscience toward the nonwealthy.

What absolutely floors me though, is how many churches are so conservative and praise God for the blessings of living in the U.S. on a regular basis, yet they fail to see how they are giving special rights to one segment of their congregation-or how those special rights actually are a threat to the blessings that they talk about having in the U.S. They don't realize that by supporting amnesty for illegals (the majority of whom are NOT planning on assimilating) they are supporting the end of the blessings of living in the U.S. It also floors me how many of the leadership are not telling their congregation to ask God who to vote for and study a candidate's past voting record, they just blindly tell the people to vote a certain way and act as if the Republican Party is the Christian Party of sorts...though I find nowhere in Scripture where God supports people getting rich at the expense of making others poorer. There was a time when believing in the Republican party meant that they supported old-fashioned morals like honesty and integrity, respect for God, the Constitution and our history, and it used to be that believing in the Democrat Party meant that they stood up for classical liberalism-now they want to give one person rights and take away another person's rights in the name of "politically correct", especially blaming all members of a particular skin color for the evils created in another generation, not considering that we are all individuals and not all were/are guilty. No more is there moderation in either party. Now it's dog eat dog in the government and either a fast march or a faster march toward a socialist or Communist type One World Order depending on which party it is, and I've got a feeling the government is thinking the rest of us are all pee-ons and will sooner or later state that we are just their worker bees and we better get ready to do their bidding.

Yes, the Bible says the meek shall inherit the earth-but that's when Jesus Christ comes back. First comes the Antichrist and the worst turmoil that the world has ever known (the Tribulation period where the planet and world population goes wacko more than it ever has), then Jesus comes and fights Armeggedon and then Isreal as a nation accepts Christ as their Messsiah and we have world peace for 1000 years, then one last spiritual test and then the final judgment and the new heaven and earth are created and we live happily ever after with God. Some days I can't wait for Armeggedon...not because I want to see blood but because it means the end of bad people ruling (I believe some of these wicked world leaders alive today may be alive then ruling) and the beginning of God's rule-and we will never be messed over by people again! God's gonna kick butt! :P
