    LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)
    — The deadline to vote in California’s primary is approaching quickly.

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan says people interested in voting in the June 7 presidential primary have until midnight on Monday, May 23 to register to vote.

To register to vote, apply online at lavote.net or complete a voter registration form – which are available at libraries, post office sand most government buildings – and mail it or drop it off at 12400 Imperial Highway in Norwalk.

Election materials in Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai or Vietnamese are available by calling (800) 481-8683.

This deadline applies to you also if you wish to re-register to change party affiliation. You might want to do this if you have been registered "Decline to State" where you have registered to vote without stating a party, and you would like to support Trump in this June primary election by re-registering as a Republican. You can always re-register again as "Decline to State" after the primary. In the actual election this November, it doesn't matter what your reported party is, the voter party membership registers are for the primary elections only.
