Carr: A fake calling Donald Trump a phony

Howie Carr Tuesday, March 22, 2016

If Scott Brown had hit back as hard at the fake Indian as Donald Trump did yesterday, he might still be in the U.S. Senate.

“The Indian?” the Donald sneered yesterday about the woman who refuses to take a DNA test to prove her alleged Native American heritage. “You mean the Indian?”

That’s fake Indian to you, pal.

“She’s got about as much Indian blood as I have,” he elaborated after she went on the warpath, high cheekbones and all.

For the record, Sen. Fauxcahontas was a white woman before she became an Indian before she returned to her original heritage. She now describes herself as “Okie down to her toes.” OK, Okie, whatever you say.
You remember her BS when she first drifted into Massachusetts from the Indian Territory. Claimed she grew up on the “jagged edge of the middle class.” Hardscrabble doesn’t begin to describe her imagined life.

Her family only owned three cars when she was in high school back in 1965. She had to drive a white MG sports car. As an oppressed fake Indian, she was so downtrodden she won the Betty Crocker Award.
“Her whole life was based on a fraud,” The Donald told The New York Times last week. “She got into Harvard and all that because she said she was a minority.”

Life can be sweet when you start checking the box. You get no-interest loans to buy your wigwam. You do your campaigning in the cheese shops of Harvard Square. You claim you don’t own stocks, only mutual funds, and nobody calls you on it.

All of this is undeniable — she doesn’t carry the BIA card issued to all real Native Americans. She plagiarized recipes from The New York Times for an Indian cookbook — she claimed cold crab omelettes were a Cherokee treat on the Trail of Tears.

But now she’s huffing and puffing because somebody objected to her endless cheapjack forked-tongue demagoguery. Of course it had to be Donald Trump.

So Granny Warren — also known as Lieawatha and Chief Spreading Bull — goes on a Twitter rant. She’s fighting above her weight — Trump has 7 million followers to her 273,000. In the Twitter universe, Trump is the Great White Father.

Here is a sample of the fake Indian’s output, translated from the original smoke signals:

“(He) stands ready to tear apart an America that was built on values like decency, community and concern for our neighbors.” (Decency like taking jobs that were supposed to be reserved for real oppressed people?)

“See how he cheated people w/scams like Trump U.” (Granny Warren accusing someone else of cheating and running scams — talk about the pot calling the kettle black.)

Somebody can take Donald Trump down, no doubt about it. But when you’re as phony as Elizabeth Warren, you’d be well-advised not to call anyone else a fake. Not unless you’re looking for your own personal Little Big Horn.
