    Was CNN Reporter Laura Logan Gang Raped by Muslims in Egypt last year?

    if this article and report is accurate it looks like CBS and the other Main Stream News left a big part of the story out.

    Logan demolishes myth of 'moderate, gentler, kinder Taliban'

    Logan drops a bombshell right in the middle of the Obama camp.

    "At least six men raped her vaginally, and a number of men raped her anally..."

    While speaking before a packed audience at the Better Government Association luncheon, CBS reporter Lara Logan all but called Barack Obama a liar.

    Described as no ordinary rubber chicken affair, the annual meeting gathers together roughly "1,100 influentials from government, politics, media, and the legal and corporate arenas," as described by the Chicago Sun-Times.
    Stunning those who have accepted the Administration's view of the war on terrorism, Logan stated to the shocked assemblage;
    "The Taliban and al-Qaida have not been vanquished.
    They’re coming back."
    The battle scarred veteran reporter went on to state;
    "... there is a major lie being propagated.
    There is this narrative coming out of Washington for the last two years."
    Logan placed the blame in part on "Taliban apologists," who claim “they are just the poor moderate, gentler, kinder Taliban."
    Summing up her opinion of the conventional wisdom, Logan exclaimed sarcastically;
    "It’s such nonsense!"
    What many consider the major bombshell was when Logan called for American retribution, stating that the United States should;
    "... exact revenge and let the world know that the United States will not be attacked on its own soil.
    That its ambassadors will not be murdered, and that the United States will not stand by and do nothing about it."
    And She Has The Scars To Prove It...
    Logan knows of where she speaks when it comes to violence at the hands of Muslim fanatics.
    In a study conducted by Dr. Dawn Perlmutter, Director of the Institute for the Research of Organized and Ritual Violence, for the University of California at Los Angeles, Dr. Perlmutter cited;
    "On February 11, 2011, when Egyptians were celebrating the resignation of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, the blonde haired blue eyed TV journalist Lara Logan who was reporting for CBS News was not wearing a headscarf.
    Being uncovered it was obvious that she was not an Egyptian Muslim woman, hence she was an open target.
    Logan was beaten and gang raped by a crowd of three hundred men who were screaming "Jew! Jew!" and "American bitch!" although she is neither Jewish nor American.
    While Western media seemed to be squeamish about reporting the facts, particularly since they did not fit in with their peaceful narrative of the secular pro-democracy demonstrators,
    YouTube and some Arab websites reported that at least six men raped her vaginally, and a number of men raped her anally.
    She was also masturbated and urinated on. There were reports that her left breast was bitten and that the entire left nipple was bitten off.
    One account claims that somewhere from six to fifty men might have sexually assaulted or beat the reporter."

    CBS News' Lara Logan Out of Hospital After Sexual Assault in Egypt

    VIDEO AT LINK

    By RUSSELL GOLDMAN (@GoldmanRussell)
    Feb. 15, 2011

    CBS News correspondent Lara Logan was assaulted and sexually abused by an Egyptian crowd last week during the celebration of President Hosni Mubarak's decision to step aside.

    Logan, a veteran foreign correspondent, was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for "60 Minutes" on Feb. 11 when "she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration," CBS News said in a statement published on their website today.

    "In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers," read the statement.

    Thousands of Egyptians swarmed Tahrir Square, the epicenter of the protests that night, and the crowds were generally peaceful.

    Soon after the assault Logan reconnected with her crew, "returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning," CBS said.

    On Tuesday, four days after the assault she was still "in the hospital recovering." She later left the hospital.

    In the days before Mubarak decided to quit, dozens ofreporters were targeted by angry supporters of the Egyptian regime. An Egyptian photographer was shot and killed as he took photos of the crowd, a Swedish journalist was stabbed and many international news agencies quickly pulled their crews from Egypt.

    Journalist organizations estimated that more than 100 reporters were assaulted, threatened, arrested or improperly detained.

    But by the time Mubarak decided to step down, many reporters had returned to the streets and the crowd in Tahrir Square was euphoric.

    The three-weeks of protests that preceded Mubarak's ouster were notable for the inclusion of women among large crowds of men, a sight uncommon at similar demonstrations in Arab countries for fear of attacks.

    Logan had been detained by Egyptian police just days earlier on Feb. 4 and forced to leave the country. After landing in the U.S. Logan promptly got on a plane and returned to Cairo on Feb. 11, the day she was assaulted.

    Logan, 39 and a native of South Africa, has covered war zones for 18 years and joined CBS as chief foreign correspondent in 2006.

    She has reported on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and has received an Emmy Award, an Overseas Press Club Award and an Edward R. Murrow Award for her reporting.

    Bunch of animals! I wondered the same thing when I read this story on another site. It looks like she is doing well tho - at least physically. Mentally - who knows.
