Who was the Nazi Russian Leader? Shoot, I don't remember any Nazi Russian leader. There was Hitler, of course........who was hated by Stalin. After Hitler, Naziism was crushed for all intents and purposes.

Mussolini, Italy, was Fascist and friend of Hitler.

If you wnt to look for a real jumping off point for Communism in this country, it was probably the New Deal. FDR federalized all sorts of institutions, formalized a Soviet-styled education system, created a communist/ socialist wealth-redistribution scheme through progressive taxation and so-called "social programs," pushed through the first de facto federal ID number, etc. The next few administrations backtracked a bit on that trend as the Cold War heated up, but then LBJ ratcheted the Socialism back up with an even steeper progressive tax and his Great Society nonsense. Reagan, anti-Communist that he was, granted us a temporary reprieve, but the Presidents since then have seemed hell-bent of marching us back down the socialist/ communist path.

To be fair, I don't even think that Communism is the goal. It is a means to a goal. The goal appears to be more closely related to the old feudal system than Communism. After all, where has there ever been true Communism? The Marxist states have all been Socialist, with a well-defined ruling class or body. That centralization of power results in a greatly reduced number of people who must be bought in order to return to feudalism, with the banking and corporate elite playing the part of the monarchs and lords and the rest of us being indentured serfs. Given that many of the large multinational banks are owned or controlled by sitting or deposed European royalty, the idea of a new monarchical system is not at all far-fetched.

I can vouch for that because the deed to my property has the US government as the original owner. My Grandfather bought this land from the government which used it during the New Deal to experiment with Socialism. It was known as the Skyline Farms Project. Families were given an equal allottment of property, eqipment, livestock, etc. Every house built was to the exact same specs and most of the homes still stand today. You can see all the archives at the Library of Congress on this project.

I had never heard about that 'experiment', but my Grandfather always called FDR a 'backdoor socialist'. That was pretty inflammatory stuff in the 40's.

When I mentioned Nazi , I really was meaning the concentration camp . This is where her mother was during WW2 and she survived everything . I ' d like to see her one day . Her history is very interesting .
I travel a lot , I go to Russia 4-5 times a year because of my children .
I also go to other countries
Every time when someone is complaining that America is this and that , I tell them - go for a week to any other country and live the life of their people , not just sightseeing but everyday life . You will kiss the floor in JFK when you come back , this is how it feels to live here .
I hope that the country will get stronger and wiser this year , I hope nothing bad will happen to it .
From my part I can just keep working , being nice to people , follow the laws and maybe if all of us can do the same simple things there will be no reason to invest our precious time and energy on explaining 24 hours a day that it is WRONG to grive through the red light and it is appropriate to keep the house door CLOSED for the uninvited guests

I do go to other countries, pretty much monthly as a matter of fact. I just got back from China (Beijing, Shanghai) this week and I spent an entire winter in Moscow a few years ago. I have also been in Tokyo, Madrid, Paris, Munich, Frankfurt, and Dubai in the last few months and will be in Bangkok and London before the summer is through. Just because this country is still a better place to live than other places does not mean that it is operating as it should or that there are not severe problems in some quarters of this society and its government that must be addressed with some urgency. A guy whose house is two feet deep in flood water may be much better off than a guy whose house is under twenty feet of flood water, but that doesn't make wading from the bedroom to the bathroom a desirable condition.

Do you need to get permission to re-enter our country each time you leave. You said you leave the country 4-5 times per year.

Do you go to Russia each time? I hope you get some bargain air fares.
