Did I miss it? I listened from 5:30-6:00...They went off about illegal immigration, but no mention of Tom

Sorry you missed it. Tom was on about 5:10 until 5:30.

Tom sounds quite optimistic although John and Ken were saying he probably doesn't stand a chance in getting the Rep nomination.

Tom said he's raised 1.4 million dollars with the average donation around $59. So obviously there are many people sending small amts here and there that added up.

And it was discussed how him being in the running that it will force others to discuss illegal immigration instead of avoiding it.

Can't recall any other details but he sounded great and upbeat. Got his plug in about his website too to donate to his campaign.

He did do good. I am sure he is very used to hearing that he does'nt have a chance. There are a lot of people who did not think he would make it this far ,however, with the help of loyal and dedicated supporters, he did. Media is not choosing our president, WE the people are! If we keep backing him and believing he can make it, it can happen!

Just remembered John or Ken reminded people of Ross Perot who was not to have a chance either and he took off like wild fire (until he quit).

We need to remember the Media cannot brainwash us that it cannot be done, if we decide it can be done and act accordingly.

I think Ross garnered so much support because he was an anti-globalist populist.....He won 19% of the vote in '92 (does anyone remember how well he was doing before he pulled out?). I voted for him in '96, but he didn't do quite as well that election. The Reform Party was actually very good on the issues now that I look back on it. Some blame Ross for Shrub Sr. losing in '92........But honestly, what's the difference? Like Shrub Sr. would not have left the borders open and signed NAFTA??.......Republicrats..........

So here we are, 2007, and globalism is a HUGE issue with illegal immigration leading the way. I totally disagree with any notion that Tom can't win. If he doesn't get the nomination, he should run as an independant--a Rasmussen poll done when immigration was the hot issue last year showed that he (or any independant tough on illegal immigration) would have an excellent chance.

I have considered the Ross Perot factor but you know what?
This is a very different time with a very different issue.
This is big business and big government verses the average voter.
This is more of a numbers game.
They can raise the money but not the people.
We have the people but not the money.
I am pretty sure voting is still free.

All we need is a strong will and big mouths!
    I have both in spades!
Some very ticked off truckers and their nice fat union won't hurt either!
