CONGRESSMAN CALLING FOR OBAMA TO GRANT AMNESTY TO ILLEGALS VIA EXECUTIVE ORDER ASAP

I have watched Luis Gutierrez play this game for so long. He's as slick as a snake and has pushed for amnesty for illegals for years. I saw him feign surprise when this crisis of illegals started but you know he knew this was happening. Now he's acting like we must do this or else.

Please take a minute to let Dem. Rep. Gutierrez know how you feel about Obama taking executive action on amnesty:

CHECK OUT THIS NEW YORK TIMES QUOTE FROM MARCH OF 2013:
"It might be hard to imagine that America’s long tradition of allowing immigrants to sponsor spouses, children and siblings for visas would be threatened. But anti-immigration groups and lawmakers have long attacked the practice, using the slanderous and misleading term “chain migration,” which summons images of a relentless flow of undesirables, usually from south of the border. Even as some of the staunchest resistance to reform is crumbling — legalizing 11 million immigrants was unthinkable for leading Republicans a few months ago, and now even rock-ribbed Tea Partiers like Senator Rand Paul favor it — right-wing resistance to family migration persists." ~ DEM. REP. LUIS GUTIERREZ
Does anyone else see the irony in this statement from a little over a year ago? Yep, those visions of a "relentless flow of undesirables" are coming true RIGHT NOW!!! This guy has been pushing this for so long. It's time to tell him NO AMNESTY!!!

    Coup d'état

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For other uses, see Coup d'état (disambiguation).

"Coup" and "Putsch" redirect here. For other uses, see Coup (disambiguation).

A coup d'état (/ˌkdˈtɑː/; French: blow of state; plural: coups d'état audio (help·info)), also known as a coup, a putsch, or an overthrow, is the sudden and illegal seizure of a government,[1][2][3][4] usually instigated by a small group of the existing state establishment to depose the established government and replace it with a new ruling body, civil or military. A coup d'état is considered successful when the usurpers establish their dominance. When the coup neither fails completely nor succeeds, a civil war is a likely consequence.

A coup d'état typically uses the extant government's power to assume political control of the country. In Coup d'État: A Practical Handbook, military historian Edward Luttwak states that "[a] coup consists of the infiltration of a small, but critical, segment of the state apparatus, which is then used to displace the government from its control of the remainder." The armed forces, whether military or paramilitary, can be a defining factor of a coup d'état.

Democrats Threaten Obama Unilateral Action On Immigration If GOP Doesn’t Act

June 26, 2014 by Sam Rolley

Top Democrats threatened Thursday that President Barack Obama will unilaterally decide what changes should be made to the Nation’s immigration policy if Congressional Republicans don’t act soon.
Obama has so far held off on changes to the Administration’s deportation policy, urging Republicans to bring immigration reform legislation to the floor before July.
“We’re at the end of the line,” Senator Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) said Thursday. “We’re not bluffing by setting a legislative deadline for them to act.
“Their first job is to govern,” Menendez added. “…[I]n the absence of governing, then you see executive actions.”
Democratic Senator Dick Durbin (Ill.) also chimed in on the issue of immigration reform Thursday, urging House Speaker John Boehner to move on the issue which hasn’t seen Congressional action since the Senate passed a broad bipartisan reform measure last year.
“I hope that Speaker Boehner will speak up today,” Durbin said. “And if he does not, the president will borrow the power that is needed to solve the problems of immigration.”
A day earlier, however, Boehner issued a memo to fellow Republicans informing lawmakers that he plans to sue the President for the very sort of executive actions the Democrats claim Obama will use to force the immigration issue.
The GOP isn’t likely to bring immigration reform legislation in the House, especially with a crisis currently unfolding at the border due to Administration policies which have provoked a flood of illegal unaccompanied minors coming to the U.S.
And any unilateral actions the President takes are likely to be cited in Boehner’s lawsuit if it gains traction.

Dem Throws Temper Tantrum Over Immigration, Concludes Obama Should Just Executive Order It

Democrat U.S. Representative Luis Gutierrez of Illinois gave up on trying to compromise with Republicans on a “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” bill and called on Obama to simply issue an executive order to stop deportations.

In a buffoonish speech on the floor, Gutierrez gave a “red card” foul to Republicans in the spirit of the World Cup soccer games (because that signals that he takes this seriously), and berated them for not giving in to the Democrats’ legislative will.

Of course, he doesn’t answer at all how the supposed “humanitarian crisis” on the border will be alleviated by rewarding people for crossing the border illegally -whether it be through a compromise bill or an executive order.

Democrats Warn Obama Will Act Unilaterally on Immigration Reform

    Leah Barkoukis | Jun 26, 2014

Top Senate Democrats are sick of waiting for the House to take up comprehensive immigration reform. If Republicans don’t act in July, President Obama will, they warn. After all, he still has a pen and phone, right?
    Via The Hill:
"We're at the end of the line," Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) said Thursday during a press briefing in the Capitol. "We're not bluffing by setting a legislative deadline for them to act.
"Their first job is to govern," Menendez added, "and in the absence of governing, then you see executive actions."
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) piled on. Noting that a year has passed since the Senate passed a sweeping immigration reform bill with broad bipartisan support, he urged House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to bring a similar bill to the floor.
"I don't know how much more time he thinks he needs, but I hope that Speaker Boehner will speak up today," Durbin said. "And if he does not, the president will borrow the power that is needed to solve the problems of immigration."

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest made similar remarks in an interview with MSNBC’s Chuck Todd:
“[W]e’re not just going to sit around and wait interminably for Congress,” he said. “We’ve been waiting a year already. The president has tasked his Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson with reviewing what options are available to the president, what is at his disposal using his executive authority to try to address some of the problems that have been created by our broken immigration system.”
Given the current unaccompanied child immigration crisis at the Southwestern border, however, Boehner says passing any legislation this year will only be more difficult.
“The president's making this harder and harder every day for us to try to deal with this in a responsible way," Boehner said. "We've got a humanitarian disaster on the border. Most of it, at the president's own making, in my opinion, and so it makes our jobs much more difficult because of the actions he's taken or not taken with regard to the border."
