Dr. Ben Carson Would 'Love' to See Roe v. Wade Overturned


Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson said he would "love" to see Roe vs. Wade overturned, making abortion illegal nationwide, with almost no exemptions.


"I'm a reasonable person and if people can come up with a reasonable explanation of why they would like to kill a baby, I'll listen," Carson said on NBC's "Meet the Press."


While the Republican candidate said he opposes abortions for unwanted pregnancies and in cases of rape and incest, the retired neurosurgeon told moderator Chuck Todd he might be open to allowing abortions to preserve the life and health of the mother.

"That's an extraordinarily rare situation," Carson said. "But if in that very rare situation it occurred, I believe there's room to discuss that."

The industry needs to be tidied up but closing clinics and limiting options for women has led to longer wait times and the fetus further along. Do it early, the morning after pill, a menstrual extraction 10 days after missed mensus and have options for detected damaged fetus and of course the life of the mother. Carson's type of thinking will greatly endanger women as the underground system will start again. Who will care for the retarded inbreeds of incest?

The abortion issue is destroying our party. It gives us weirdos as candidates exposing the perverse and forces everyone else to do likewise just to be able represent our other principles.

For people to care more about a fetus than the life and well-bring of a girl or woman saddled with an unwanted pregnancy and hinge our election process and what's best for our country on this issue is a shame that will long take the Republican Party to live down.

Even the majority of religious people do not believe that never, ever, should an abortion be allowed. Ben Carson is in a minority on that one.

I simply do not see abortion on demand as being a big deal issue with Republicans or the independents who may vote Republican. The vast majority of women for whom abortion on demand is an issue important enough to determine for whom they will vote are liberals or RINOS who are very unlikely to support anyone who seriously wants to end the illegal alien invasion. Almost always the two go together.

Look at Laura Batchelder who tried to divert Trump away from his winning message of jobs creation into the political weeds of women’s pay equity and abortion. She was not asking a question; she was looking for a national audience in front of whom she could lecture him about her favorite issues. Trump saw that immediately and that is why he refused to get into a protracted argument with her.

She worked exclusively for those “Republicans” who were barely distinguishable from Democrats on open borders and amnesty, and predictably she is pro abortion. I have spent a lifetime having to make a devils choice between an open borders amnesty peddling Republican or a Democrat. It is time for the RINOs like her to make hard choices. Let people like her be made to choose between the lesser of two evils: a real choice between a Republican against amnesty and a pro abortion Democrat.

I am still mad as hell at Trump for saying the Confederate flag should come down in South Carolina. But I swallowed hard and chose my priorities and I back Trump because of his strong stand on the illegal alien invasion. Judy has had to make the same choice with Trump and his opposition to abortion.

It is long past time that we stopped competing with the Democrats by pandering to the supposed important societal divisions as defined by the Marxists “news” media. We have allowed the enemy to tell us where to seek votes. Experience has show that the liberal's societal divisions of voters works well for the Democrats but is a loosing strategy for the GOP.

It is Trump or bust. This nation is in a downward death spiral. Stopping the illegal alien invasion is the only issue that really matters and that is what we must put before the voters. “Do you want a country or not?”

This is our line in the sand, it is our hill to die on, this is our Gettysburg. We are out of time for politics as usual. Everything else is a diversion. The election process is so corrupted that this is probably our last election that is even marginally honest.

No amnesty is the #1 issue - will not be easy to overturn the agenda in place and Mr Trump is the only one with the guts to stop amnesty. I'm not thrilled at all @ keystone pipeline and hopefully not a done deal for Trump. Some issues need closer exam and more info down the line.

I don't support the Keystone pipeline either, nor do I support wholesale abortion under normal circumstances. Like you said though, immigration is the "#1 issue" and it should be the top priority for every American that cares about this country and our quality of life!

For those of us who are pro life, Donald Trump is the only candidate I can see voting for. Immigration is the only issue that matters right now! None of the things important to social conservatives, or any conservatives for that matter, will matter if this country is consumed by a people dependent on the government to take care of them.

It is sad that over 50 million babies have been aborted, many millions of Americans and citizens who would have hopefully been available to work at jobs that have gone to tens of millions of illegal aliens.

The immigration issue is most critical to our nation to survive and of utmost importance in the Presidential race as stated.

Illegal aliens and even immigrants are not filling jobs in the United States because we don't have enough of our own Americans and citizens, illegal aliens and immigrants are taking jobs away from Americans and citizens who need and want them. That's why wages are deflated or stagnant, that's why tens of millions of Americans are in poverty, that's why tens of millions of Americans are unemployed, underemployed or hopelessly out of the work force because they can't find a job and give up looking with valid reason. Older workers without jobs are being forced to sign up for early SS retirement or SS disability because the jobs they want and need have been handed off to illegal aliens and immigrants. 1 child in 4 in the United States lives in poverty. There are over 72 million people on Medicaid, which means their net worth is less than $2,500. Our impoverished country owes $19 trillion to the world with no hope or means of every repaying it.

If Dr. Carson truly wished Roe v Wade to be overturned, there is NO way he would support amnesty for millions of future Democrat leaning voters. Pro-life folks need to wake up, as they are being deceived by Ben Carson.
