Donald Trump's immigration plan was the first topic of discussion today on the Fox News show, "The Five". As the discussion went around the table, Dana Perino, former President George W. Bush's spokesperson, began to raise her voice to a near screaming level and used the word "asinine" to describe portions of Mr. Trump's plan.

Dana Perino talked about the Dream Act and said that approval was around 70 percent. She laughed about the wall and bringing back jobs from China, too. She spoke out against attempts to end birthright citizenship, saying that it would not happen.

Ms. Perino mentioned an article written on the website, the federalist.com. It evidently mocks the immigration plan and/or ideas put forth by Donald Trump, Senator Sessions and supported by the majority of Americans. I did not catch the exact title of the article, but I did glance at a few recent articles on immigration on this site and they are negative and critical, of course.

Geraldo is a contributor today on the show and he repeated his usual talking points, though he did not outright reject every point in the immigration plan of Donald Trump. He mentioned the deportation of Elian Gonzalez to illustrate his point of the problems associated with trying to deport individuals.

It appears that Dana Perino has been on the warpath against the Trump Plan for several days now. This is from Aug 13, 2015 I believe.

I guess Fox is about to lose a lot of watchers with that nonsense talk. With the Dragon Lady & her 2 fellow assassins at the 1st debate, & now this, it is clear what Fox is about and it is NOT about putting this country RIGHT. Best to scream on them @ not watching anymore but you have to email a particular show rather than the head of Fox as I could not find an address to do that..

I haven't cared for her since this little tirade on June 17,2015. I think she really showed her...self.

June 17, 2015 - Wow. Talk about boiling hot. Dana Perino actually accuses co-host Eric Bolling of covering for Donald Trump just to get a spot on his show, Celebrity Apprentice. She made this accusation based on a couple of tweets between the Donald and Bolling last night. Bolling didn’t take kind to that at all, vigorously defending himself.I really think Perino is losing it over Trump. I mean, to accuse a co-host on-air of unethical behavior based on a couple of tweets is not professional at all…and a little nutty. Either her hatred of Trump is so white-hot that she will run over anyone defending him or there is something more going on between her and Bolling because this should have never happened.

I'm personally sick of Fox attacking Trump at every turn. They are often at times a nonsense *news* station while more honest politically then the other major media outlets they are really whacked on some things. They keep saying how Megyn Kelly was good but few viewers seem to think so even out of those who dislike Trump. I'm personally tired of them saying he has no chance because he isn't a career politician part of the establishment and is against a few of their views.

Dana Perino is not alone in receiving criticism today from the American people on the issue of illegal immigration.

Geraldo, who also appeared on the "The Five" today, is hearing from the American people, too.
