    Illegal Immigrant Votes

I've been hearing a lot of concerns about a loophole that will allow illegal immigrants to vote... Is there anything we could do to close the loophole?

Great question, Linski! Welcome to ALIPAC! It's voter fraud if they vote but I believe state election officials have to investigate it to stop it before it's too late and they all claim there isn't any. They lie. Recently an organization did an investigation and found a lot of illegal aliens voted in several elections in several areas. Someone posted the article on ALIPAC. When the person who posted that article sees your post I hope they will search for it and post the link on your thread. Voting by illegal aliens must be stopped.

Illegal aliens are already voting in large numbers in California and Nevada even though it is both a felony for them to register and a felony for them to vote. They are doing this because nobody is checking and when we get reports of evidence of their actions the FEC and Nevada Boards of Elections refuse to act.

We need a law that bans federal funding to any state that allows illegal aliens to register or vote unimpeded.

    Welcome to Alipac, Linksi.

We know that fraud in voting occurs and illegal aliens can be included in the fraud. We have had elections decided by a few votes, one recently with only thirty something votes.

To me, the Consent Decree that is still in effect that prohibits the RNC from contesting voter fraud is a huge issue. The Supreme Court left it in place until 2017... conveniently after the election. This does not stop another party from protesting voter fraud.

This explains it better than I can.

Supreme Court denies RNC bid to end voter fraud consent decree

    January 14, 2013|
    By David G. Savage

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court has refused to lift a 30-year consent decree that bars the Republican National Committee from targeting racial and ethnic minorities in its efforts to end fraudulent voting.

The justices without comment turned down an appeal from RNC lawyers who said the decree has become “antiquated” and is “increasingly used as political weapon” by Democrats during national campaigns.

For their part, lawyers for the Democratic National Committee had argued that recent campaigns show the “consent degree remains necessary today.”

The court’s action is a victory for the DNC, and it comes after an election year in which the two parties regularly exchanged charges over “voter fraud” and “voter intimidation.” But most of the recent battles have been fought on the state level, and it is not clear whether the long-standing consent decree has had much impact.

The case began in 1981 when the RNC created a “national ballot security task force” that, among other things, undertook mailing campaigns targeted at black and Latino neighborhoods in New Jersey. If mailers were returned undelivered, party activists put those voters on a list to be challenged if they showed up to cast a ballot. In addition, the party was alleged to have hired off-duty law enforcement officers to “patrol” minority neighborhoods on election day.

The DNC sued the RNC in federal court, alleging its activities violated the Voting Rights Act and were intended to suppress voting among minorities. Rather than fight the charges in a trial, the RNC agreed to a consent decree promising to “refrain from undertaking any ballot security activities … directed toward [election] districts that have a substantial proportion of racial or ethnic minority populations.”

The consent decree has remained in effect, and DNC lawyers say they have gone to court in states such as Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana and Pennsylvania to challenge Republican activities that appear to target mostly black precincts. Both sides agree, however, that the consent decree does not forbid “normal poll watching” by Republican officials.

The RNC has tried repeatedly to have the consent decree lifted, contending it interferes with its efforts to combat voter fraud.

But a federal judge in New Jersey in 2009 ruled that it should remain in effect, and the U.S. Court of Appeals agreed last year.

In appealing to the Supreme Court, the RNC’s lawyers cited past decisions by the justices that ended long-standing court orders involving school desegregation and prison overcrowding. But the justices with no dissent dismissed the appeal in the case of RNC vs. DNC.

Pass Trey Gowdy's bill 1148 in the US House of Representatives authorizing 800,000 state and local law enforcement officers to enforce US immigration law. With an average of 2 arrests of illegal aliens per month for 11 months and 3 arrests in 1 month, that's 20,000,000 illegal aliens removed within a year. The current average arrest record per officer of those 800,000 police officers is 1.5 arrests per month. I think they can handle 2 to 3 more per month, to save our nation from the ravages of illegal immigration.

    Two steps.
    1. Identify non-citizen registered voters.
Registered list is public information but how to determine which are citizens and which aren't? Current birth and naturalization records aren't public information. I can only think of one way. Prospective juror lists are compiled from registered voter lists--among other sources. Some folks will opt out of jury duty by claiming not to be a citizen. Any other ideas?

    2. Formally challenge those identified as non-citizens at the polls. In many states this will get the case before a judge. Challengers are appointed by candidates on the ballot in that voting district.
