Ben in Feinsteins Washington office told me, and a few others here, that you don't have to be a citizen to vote, only registered.

Oh Yeah, no doubt in my mind, illegals voted, maybe more than once.

No doubt. They don't call them lawbreakers for nothing.

Putting aside the legit question of whether or not a non-national should be able to vote or not....

My question to the question is: How would anyone know (eg. there should be some systematic auditing / checking processes in place to be able to determine these and related things..) With our nearly exclusively 'mail-in' voting in OR, there are points in the process which allow for database checking and cross-checking with other important government databases. (Of course, whether those checks are done with 100% accuracy and vigor is yet another question...)

Of course a persons citizenship should be checked before they are allowed to vote.

I have been asked multiple times when I have been to the BMV if I have registered to vote. I always decline and say I am not allowed to. I am certain that many people just say no and then continue to register. In some instances they may not realize they are not allowed to vote but cannot imagine that is always the case.

I read that some people who went to vote were denied. They were told their names were already checked off and they had already voted. No other way McCain could have gotten the majority of the votes

here in the Casinos in Nevada they just had to show a work badge....no other ID....and the only way you can get a entry leval job in the Casinos is if you are fluent in Spanish.....and they had to call in interpretors to help the illegals vote.....

I wish this could be checked out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
