Democrats, Republicans called into C-Span to praise Trump’s veteran rally – Listen to these calls!

If you’ve never listened to C-Span before, they usually create a subject and then bring in callers on three lines, broken down by party affiliation, to discuss the topic.

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump had a rally/fund-raising event for veterans in lieu of participating in the Fox News debate and listening to these calls from all sides of the aisle, it looked like a major win for the outside candidate.

The political establishment won’t understand these people but when you hear these voices it will start to sink in, it’s more than just party right now, it is a movement to change things.

Grab your coffee and sit back, you will enjoy this:

IMO, it didn't matter much one way or the other. I don't think staying out of the debate really helped or hurt Trump.

Newmexican, of all the wonderful posts you've made on ALIPAC, I swear this is the best one ever. And thank you C-Span for covering the Trump Event. I didn't think about them covering it and they weren't mentioned in any of the articles saying who was covering it, so I had to watch it on Live Stream because CNN and MSNBC who said they were going to cover it, didn't actually do so.

Listening to these sweet, wonderful, thoughtful, sincere, smart Americans from all political persuasions who nailed it, across the board, was just so wonderful. I could cry with the emotions I feel for our people, our wonderful Americans, so forgotten, so neglected, so cheated and robbed by our own government and politicians, who can now through this wonderful man, Donald Trump, see hope and feel confidence and excitement about our country, our lives and our future.

Thank you, Newmexican, for the privilege of hearing the Voices of The Americans.

Newmexican, the pulse poll is closed now, I guess they just do it for a short while, so I think you should post your C-Span video on its own thread so more people will have a chance to hear the Voices of our beloved Americans.

    Thank you.

Hmm, and you don't think Trump had a ulterior motive for doing this? Of course he did, this wasn't all about the Wounded Warrior Project. If it was Trump could have just donated 6 millions dollars himself. After all, he is supposedly worth 4 billion.

This was was simply a political move on the chessboard to the nomination. Even the Wounded Warrior Project knows it was purely political, that's why the organization told Trump to keep the money and not drawl them into this political scheme.

Attempting to pass this off as something solely from the heart is a little disingenuous if you ask me. This was a calculated move formulated to negate the negativity of not attending the debate. Nobody has ever accused Trump of not being a wise planner and schemer. In his world he needs those traits to stay profitable. Do I begrudge Trump doing this, no I don't, but I'm not going to slobber all over him for it either.

A lot of Americans disagree with you, MW, myself included.

Wounded Warrior Project wasn't on the list of 22 organizations. A little presumptive of them to believe Trump would give them any money when he checked their financials.

I'd like to see a graph of the watchers of the Fox live debate compared to every other Rep debate this election year. It would be very interesting although not unexpected to me to see that the latest debate may have had fewer watchers then any of the other Rep primary debates.
