Did you know? Americans can co-sponsor bills in Congress
I received a email from Jeff Denham asking me to Co-sponsor a bill. I knew nothing about this tool for citizens so I googled and found this article.

A new social-media tool allows people to show their support for issues and ideas they care about and track the progress of bills in the House of Representatives.
It also lets people use Facebook to drum up support for causes they care about.
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., announced the launch of Cosponsor.Gov this week.
Users can become virtual cosponsors of bills by logging on via Facebook and can then choose to share that status with friends. Citizen Cosponsors are updated on the status of their bills through the Facebook app as they move through the various stages of the legislative process.
“The launch of Cosponsor.Gov is a sweeping expansion of our Citizen Cosponsor Project. The new website will now feature every bill and resolution introduced in the House, from Republicans and Democrats. I’m excited that any engaged citizen can voice their support, and track the status of legislation in the House,” said Cantor.
He also said it is more than a way to keep informed. It’s also a bid to improve transparency in government in a way that is user friendly.
“The best part of this new website is it’s accessibility and simplicity,” Cantor said. “You can search by title, sponsor or bill number or browse issue areas and the tracker shows you exactly where the bill stands.”
The project requires access to cosponsors’ public profiles on Facebook, email addresses and friends’ lists.

If you go to the Citizen Cosponsor Project at https://www.cosponsor.gov/ you will find all Bills available to cosponsor. Right now there are 6925 Bills. Looking at the number of cosponsors I don't think very many citizens are aware of this tool. I really don't think they want us to know about this tool.
So many times we cannot get through to representatives in different areas, but if we could go straight after the Bills it would be great. William can you look into this and let us know if this is a good idea or if there is any hidden traps?
