Someone is starting to sound a little bit like Lou Dobbs.

Ya know. I was listening to Huckabee tonight in his interview and he said a few things I've heard Lou Dobbs say. You know, "Whose standing up for the middle class?"

[Don't pass out, yet. I haven't lost my mind.]

Huckabee's new campaign manager is Ed Rollins.

Some of you may remember him from the Reagan days. But, I remember him as a frequent sitter at Lou Dobbs desk before he became Huckabee's campaign manager. If anyone knows how to understand the plight of the middle class, we know its Lou Dobbs.

I think ole Ed probably knew exactly what the people of Iowa needed to hear in order to seal the deal. I guess he'd been listening to Lou, just like the rest of us.

Yeah, I remember seeing Rollins on Lou's show quite frequently.

It makes me sick to see this fake populism coming from Knucklehead

They have to crib from us to gain any popular support. Scumbags.

You are DEFINITELY right about this!!

He was a frequent guest on Lou's show-----and always commented on this issues.

And, yes, he knew "exactly" what buttons to push.

    This surprises me about Iowa.

Maybe they haven't had enough problems with illegals yet.

I do remember a story a while back about an Iowa town actually advertising for illegals to come there. Maybe if they like a illegal loving man like Huckabee - we could all get together and send them a few million. Texas has more than it's share - I'm sure other states feel the same way.

Last night on Lou Dobbs, I heard him talk about Huckabee and McCain and never brought up, Hunter, Paul, or Romney. I was waiting for him to bring up the other candidates running and who are popular with Americans but I didn't hear that.

According to polls immigration was the #1 issue for them. #2 on the Dems side.

I think it has more to do with they were not totally aware of Hucks past.. or what he would probably do in office.

    Keep in mind

To people in Iowa that don't know Huck or took the time to
    check his record

He did sound tough on illegals , that and parading around with
    Gilchrest

He won by smoke and mirrors and a healthy dose of snake oil

That's how I initially heard Ed Rollins was going to be his campaign manager. He mentioned it on Lou Dobbs (full disclosure) right after he agreed to do it.

So, he wasn't going to be sitting around the table anymore.

Having said that - I do NOT believe Lou Dobbs is on board with Huckabee.
