Rick--excellent point!! That's why the illegal nanny needs to be packed up and shipped out. I believe a great number of politicians fall into that category....more loyalty to their illegal nanny than to Americans. They don't want to enforce the law because someone might take their nanny away. There are SO MANY Unemployed Americans that would love to take care of kids and be their nannies.

So who infltrated our homes with illegal nannies? There are services. They make all the arrangements. So do "Missions".

It's ILLEGAL and their children are suffering. Being for all we know "indoctrinated" "brain-washed" to become Drones of Commerce.

    It's just all too much!!!!

Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that the mother KNOWS the nanny is an illegal alien.

How does mom justify hiring someone she knows has no right to work in this country, let alone even BE in the country.

Well, we know the answer is, in many cases--cheap labor (read that as me-me-me first, and to Hell with the rest of you).

In that scenario, who does mom think pays the nanny's health-care costs?

Well, we know the answer--she doesn't care, as long as nanny's labor remains cheap.

How about the nanny's other social benefit costs. And does mom wonder how the nanny gets to work? Maybe she drives--with no driver's license or insurance.

The concerns go on. And, what this mom is doing is not an isolated case. How many of our fellow citizens are doing this to the rest of us? And when will they begin to care?

huumm, and if nanny drives with no license and she drove to the store with the kiddies in the car. Mommy is guilt of child abuse believe it or not.

Sounds good to me, if mommy is dumb enough to break the law, then mommy should be held accountable.

As a mom who raised 3 boys with 2 businesses {1 a 24hr service} the best of my childcare were older teen girls who had syblings at home.

This always confused me "hiring foreign nannies"

-- two of my friends had wopping bad times with their husband's affairs with the foreign nannies

IMO, those who are not willing to make sacrifices in their careers or whatever in order to take care of their children should never have had children to begin with. NOBODY, no babysitter, nanny, or daycare center, has the emotional atachment to the children equal to a normal parents, thus none can or will do as good of a job caring for the child. My sister was like that... not willing to make sacrifices with her career. She certainly did not NEED the money since she was married to a multi-millionaire at that time. Too many people are letting others raise their children because they are either getting their ego stroked like my sister, or because they are working for more money to buy things, most of which they do not need, or in the cases of many unemployed mothers, just to be able to go have fun and let someone else deal with the kids... and their kids are the ones who are paying for it.

I have no sympathies for this stuff.. so far as I am concerned, the parents who hire an illegal for a nanny can go straight to jail. I think that knowingly hiring a criminal to be the caregiver of your child is an obvious act of child neglect.

my grandfather forgot portuguese but picked up english, italian, and spanish". Ricky, I thought you were a spaniard? At least that is what I thought you had said before, maybe I am mistaken. I have been gone for business two days and missed all the gossip. Did you see Arnold's press conference? Why did he apologize in the first place? I thought what he said about the borders was one of the smartest things republicans have said(besides Tom TAncredo and Janet Napolitano)
