    hope2006,

I think if you choose not to keep yourself updated on the news and what's going on around the world regardless of how daunting it may be, you are missing out on way too much.
I don't care what you call me, so long as you call me AMERICAN.

You are right - he is already here , in Florida , preaching for "peace"- I guess , I do not need to watch TV anymore - he needs $ 2 million dollars from all of us - and his office sent me a request for contributions at least 4 times within last month
I have a right to make up my mind prior to investing in something like this
I am investing in peace and laws - if this is a wrong attitude - sorry

And so far the opinion is uniform - Bush is not an Anti-Chist .
But this statement is not a reason to justify his actions .
When I go travel - people do not say to me - what is Bush doing ?
They are asking - What are YOU / Americans/ doing ?
I do not want to be responsible for anybody's evil , unlawful and destructive behaviour even if this person is the leader of America.

The only thing worse is the Dixie Chicks (no insult intended, Dixie), who choice to insult and humiliate our president in front our friends in England. I can accept such an action in our own country, but I find it disgusting when American citizens decide to wash our dirty laundry outside the house (United States).
I never voted Bush nor have I ever agreed with any of his policies. While I am not a fan of Chavez, I think its wrong to call him a twirp from a 3rd world country (what's good for the goose is good for the gander) and although I may be disliked for saying so, I have to give him props for having the courage to say what the rest of the world thinks about Bush but is afraid they will be cut off financially for saying so. Say what you will but Hugo Chavez is his own man, wealthy in his own right and the people of Venezuela love him, which is more than I can say about our current embarrassment masquerading as a world leader. Bush has done a fine job of globally humiliating Americans and America all by himself.

Everytime he opens his mouth which has never managed to connect itself to his miniscule brain the rest of the world laughs at America. At the end of the day the emperor has no clothes and the rest of the world is laughing because he's too arrogant to realize he's mentally and morally naked, and those who voted for him are too embarrassed to admit they voted with their faith instead of their brains for the Wizard of Oz who used their religious beliefs as a weapon against them to bamboozle them not once but twice.

I think these days politicians "bamboozle" everyone regardless of their religious faith.

Nevertheless, a President who is embarrasing doesn't make them evil/Satan/Antichrist. If anything it makes them a clown.

I have a hard time with what is happening in our country. We have many Democrats that are leaning so left that they would we were a Socialist country, as do the illegals that are here...share the wealth.

We have Republicans that are leaving their values, the whole country seems to becoming morally bankrupt...it's a "everything is ok" country now. Let's not pay attention to any laws anymore...even our judges are doing some really questionable things in court.

I fear our country is so divided it will never unite, Yes, I have a few problems with Bush's policies, but I do not blame him for everything...my gosh, some people blame him for the weather!

And I am not a global warming person, I truly believe God controls things such as weather....we had a little ice age many years ago, before we evil humans fouled everything up.....

But did we cause the moon to move away from the earth at a rate of 1.5" per year...? Once it gets so far away, the earth will be tilting, what happens to us then?

I guess I am probably older than most here, but I swear, when I grew up, people showed more respect, more patriotism, more pride in the products they made, more pride in services they provided for customers, less rudeness and used common sense.

It's getting so bad, we are going to have to start teaching common sense and manners in schools!

Sorry, I am just ranting, and do not like this brash world we are now in.
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

How to explain his consistently destructive behaviour and actions throughout all the years of being in the office?
The answer seems pretty simple.......the roots of most evil are greed, ego/narcicism, and lust for power. These things are evident in most of the decisions and policies we've seen come out of Bush and his administration. There is more than enough pure everyday evil to go around here without invoking "end times" biblical prophesies.

How to explain those photos in the end of the article ?

There are many more questions and articles -

This is just a follow-up note upon today's UN meeting
Good grief! How many ways can I destroy this argument? for starters, the author made a total mess of the gematria of the name. For example, he illegitimately tried to replace vau with ayin in Bush's last name. That (intentional?) error alone queers the whole deal. Nevermind that the author arbitrarily decides to use the first and last name but to omit the middle name. Whatever it takes to make the math work out, eh?

I remember nutballs trying to do the same thing with Ronald Wilson Reagan, trying to claim that the fact that there were six letters in each of his names, that Brady (as one of the "heads" of the administration) was wounded to the head, yet miraculously recovered with forty-two months left to Reagan's first term when he was replaced with a "mouthpiece" (Larry Speaks), etc. Sheer lunacy, but that's the sort of extreme that some people will go to in order to villify their own leaders.

For the record, there is NO ANTICHRIST in the Bible. "The Antichrist" is a post-biblical myth. John speaks of a pervasive "spirit" of anti-Christ, but hangs that name on no person or entity. The entity ascribed the numerical value of six hundred sixty-six in the Revelation is referred to as the Beast, and is clearly NOT a human being, as he is later referred to as ascending from the abyss, Tarteros, which is a place of confinement for spirits, not for human beings. He is described as being one of the seven persecutors of the faith, five of which had already come and gone as of John's time (in order, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, and Macedonian Greece), one of which (Rome) still existed, and one of which would last only a short time (Nazi Germany?). And yes, the Revelation says that the number of the Beast is the number of a man, but the term "man" refers to non-human beings MANY places throughout the Bible. Of these pagan states, the only one whose supernatural prince is specifically discussed in the canonized text of the Bible (Daniel) is the Prince of Persia, who is described as being in imminent danger of being cast into the abyss (cast down) by the archangel Michael, who is also described by the same title of "Prince" (Sar).

The best guess as to the actual name pointed to is that of the old Persian false messiah, called Mithras by the Greeks and Romans after they adopted his worship. The Catholic Church is in fact nothing more than the continuation of Mithraism and its tenets with a thin veneer of Christian aglomerations. The old name for Mithras, rendered approximately in English as Maitreya (which, not coincidentally, is the name of the expected "messiah of the New Age movement and is also the basis for the "Mahdi" or 12th Imam in certain sects of Islam) has a gematraic value of six hundred sixty-six.

Given that we are told that the Church of Rome, identified by the Vatican colors of scarlet and purple and the fact of sitting on her famous seven hills, was seated astride the Beast, we can again make the link to Rome's incorporation of Mithraism and other old pagan faiths represented by the other heads. We are then told that the Beast and its ten horns (latter day kings) would turn on the harlot and burn her with fire. What are we now seeing from Iran and the Islamist radicals she leads with respect to the Church of Rome, which those Arabic and Islamic kings are threatening to destroy? Was not the Pope just burned in effigy all over Islam?

Sorry, but more informed theology says that you are unequivocally barking up the wrong tree on this one.

The interpetation of Revelation as describing events of the end times is actually a recent interpretation of this book dating from the mid-1800s, and promoted by John Darby. This interpretation is not held by many Christians, but is common among evangelical Christians.
