Donald Trump Cancels Campaign Events in Colorado, Nevada and Oregon

His campaign manager had billed this week as "immigration week"

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump cancelled scheduled campaign events in Colorado, Nevada and Oregon in a week that was originally billed by the campaign as focusing on immigration.

While Trump will attend a private fundraiser in Aspen, Co. he will not make a speech on immigration that was scheduled in Denver on Thursday, according to the Denver Post.

The Trump campaign also said it had cancelled a planned rally in Las Vegas on Friday, according to local ABC affiliate KTNV. No reason was given for the Nevada cancellation, but a planned Lake Tahoe fundraiser will continue as planned.
Another planned rally and fundraiser in Portland, Ore., scheduled for Aug. 31, was cancelled, according to local CBS affiliate KOIN. Trump’s Oregon campaign director, Jacob G. Daniels, cited Trump’s visit to Baton Rouge, La., which has been ravaged by heavy flooding, as the reason for the cancellation.

Trump Axes Immigration Speech As Rumors Swirl of Coming Deportation Flip-Flop

I would like to see keep Mr. Trump keep the dates in these states. There is enough controversy in regards to deportation news.

Mr. Trump could speak on security, the economy, terror, his usual talk. Canceling just creates more buzz to avoid.

Enough of you for now Kellyanne - let Trump run the show as he sees fit. We know the difference between upholding our laws and amnesty in 100 days. He apologized if he caused pain, to political contenders too, - now let's move on to other issues!

I think his trip to Louisiana messed up his schedule a bit. I agree he should speak on all issues and needs to reschedule them as soon as possible.
