Donald Trump: Illegal Immigrants Met by Democrat Lawyers at the Border

President Donald Trump berated Democrats Thursday for causing a crisis on the Southern border by promising amnesty for illegal immigrants and making sure they take advantage of legal protections.

“Democrats want to pretend that there is no border crisis, for one simple reason. Because they have caused the border crisis,” Donald Trump said. “You know why else? Honestly? Because they want votes, and they don’t want to give us a win.”

Trump said that illegal immigrants and migrants crossing the border were met by lawyers who coached them to take advantage of the existing legal loopholes to get into the country.

“It’s a big, fat con job, folks,” he said. “It’s a big fat con job.”

The president commented on the ongoing crisis at the border during a rally with supporters in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Trump recalled the border wall fight he had with Congress, noting that he agreed to call the wall whatever the Democrats wanted. “I said, ‘I will call it whatever the hell you want. Just give me the money to build it,'” he said. “Then they sort of got little cold feet, and now I call it the wall and I got the money anyway.”

He proudly touted his first presidential veto of the Congressional resolution to stop his declaration of a national emergency on the Southern border and thanked House Republicans for blocking Democrat attempts to override the veto. He also promised to travel to the Southern border soon to show off newly constructed physical barriers.

“We are building a wall, we will be finishing the wall, it is moving along rapidly,” Trump said.

The big fat con job is coming from President Donald J Trump! He has the power and responsibility to end and reverse this invasion today but he is always pointing fingers at everyone else instead of doing his job.

The wall is no good it you let the Border Patrol act as the Welcome Wagon with waiting vans and buses to load them up and dump them in our neighborhoods and on our backs to pay for and we SUFFER the consequences of their overbreeding, diseases, crime, rape, and murder!

All the guy has to do is INVOKE section 212f of the Immigration and Nationality Act and he can DENY THEM ASYLUM CLAIMS!!!!! So far, he's REFUSED to do so although he's publically proclaiming what he's allowing to take place on the border is a CON JOB?????

Section 212(f) has been invoked 43 times since 1981, 19 of which were by President Obama. The one major Supreme Court case covering 212(f) was Sale v. Haitian Centers Council, Inc. (1993), which dealt with a policy established by Bush 41 and Clinton to apprehend Haitians traveling by sea to our shores. The policy was designed to return these Haitians to their home country before they could land in the United States and apply for asylum. In a clear 8-1 decision authored by Justice John Paul Stevens, the court fully upheld the act and made it clear that there are no limitations on 212(f) authority.
Similarly, the few lower court decisions on this matter clearly affirmed long-standing settled law. Any alien who enters the country without lawful status or against the president’s 212(f) proclamation is considered to be outside our borders and has no right to apply the due process of deportation procedures to his predicament.
