Donald Trump Speaks Per Tweet on Immigration
After Hannity, he's still clear that if elected, he will build the wall and enforce our laws. Enforcing our laws means deportation for those here illegally.
It's just a change in tone, not a change in policy.
By the way, on O'Reilly, Steve Cortes who is on the Trump Hispanic Advisory Council said they were going to recommend to Trump some type of stay program under a process, but no amnesty or citizenship, but that Trump hadn't said he was going to do anything like that, only that he would listen. Rubin Navarrette who was also on the show said that's amnesty and Cortes said "no, amnesty means citizenship" and Navarrette said "no, amnesty means staying and that all the immigration hard-liners would consider that amnesty and it would cost Trump his base". Cortes looks so confused, thoughtful, going like "oooh boy, then maybe this staying isn't such a good recommendation to make to Trump after all".
It's a dialogue and this is how Trump is educating the public. O'Reilly's guest Rubin Navarrette who is against Trump just educated Cortes who will now educate the Trump Hispanic Advisory Council.
