Someone told me you can not fight the government
I know the subject here but I would like to make a comparison
As to why they think they can just dance right in and start up the shamnesty bill – I mean amnesty bill Me and a few of my neighbors are very upset that this is the 5th time in a row that they are raising taxes in our county Hill county Texas well I went over to a neighbors house because his riding mower was down and I had a part to fix it so I just gave it to him see we live in hill county and there are lots of ranch land well he has 58 acres and he ask me if I knew that tax was going up? I told him I was thinking about starting a web site because our commissioners do not have one and the sad thing was he told me * dam you can’t fight them* they even told him that * well Sir you have at least 18 acres of trees that if harvested would bring at least 14K * let me tell you we do not have a lumber harvesting place for at least 200 miles away and the trees are small.
But as many people think you can not fight Government and that is upsetting to me.
So my opinion is that not only do we need to fight harder but we need to show the American citizen how the cow eats the cabbage and hold small and big politicians accountable to who ???? US the people

That is their excuse for being lazy and not standing up for themselves.
Some people accept the "push over" position in life and I'm not one of them.

You can't fight City Hall....
I've heard that a million times. It seems that most of the nation has forgotten that this Country was founded by people who thought differently. They fought City Hall and White Hall and they won.
I would remind your neighbor that this is the United States and we are the heirs of a country that fights back. These movements start small and then, as others hear about them, they grow.
I think that the 60's and 70's did a lot of damage to our will to demonstrate. I grewup at that time and when I was in my 20's if someone said they were going to demonstrate, all I could see in my mind was a bunch of unwashed hippies and losers marching around with signs and smoking dope. That was the 60's and 70's. The media and politicians used these types of images with great effect to prevent protests from the masses for a generation. Well, no more.Lunarminer
