    The thing is that they tax debate needs to drag on a bit more. 2 more weeks at least. So the GOP filibuster stands until then. otherwise, many GOP senators might vote for DREAM claiming that the tax issue and goverment funding issue is over.

    Reid F@*ked up.

    He wants to pull the bill until he has the votes, but needs unanimous consent. At least one GOP senator voted against unanimous consent, and thus they have to vote for it at aprox. 11:00 am EST. even though it doesn't look good for the DREAM act. Im sure Sen. "Sessions voted against unanimous consent since he wants the vote today in order to kill it once and for all.
