DREAM lobby using phone number that targets key Senators.

Calling that number conects you to a Senator targeted by the pro-amnesty opposition.

This is where the number is from.

As Congress heads into their last session before newly elected members take their seats, the question on all of our minds is: will we see another vote on the DREAM Act?

Everybody agrees that pushing through any legislation will be even more difficult with the incoming Congress – one small example is that Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) will be chairing the House Judiciary committee and Rep. Steve King (R-IA) will be chairing the immigration subcommittee.

They support Arizona’s noxious efforts to give its law enforcement officers freer rein to demand people’s papers. Mr. King has gone so far as to defend racial profiling (which is illegal) as “legitimate law enforcement.â€

Other Republicans who have voiced support for the DREAM Act but voted the amendment down last month include: Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), Bob Bennett (R-UT), George Lemeiux (R-FL), George Voinovich (R-OH), and Dick Lugar (R-IN). (Feel free to call them at 866-587-6101 to let them know you want them to support the bill).
These are the senators we need to target for now.

I thought Hutchison, Lemeius, and Voinovich already announced they were voting against it and Bennet and Lugar already said they would vote for it.

What is our current count on those voting against it? Do we have the votes now to block cloture?
