NASA FIRING AMERICANS & HIRING MUSLIMS.... BY THE THOUSANDS

NASA FIRING AMERICANS & HIRING MUSLIMS.... BY THE THOUSANDS

Administrator Charles Bolden and a delegation of several other NASA officials arrive in Saudi Arabia on Friday following a trip to Prague. From the Middle East, they will head next to Nepal where Bolden will give a keynote address at a climate change conference. Despite the fact Congress finally passed the three-year $58 billion NASA Auth
orization Act late Wednesday night, hundreds of space workers found themselves without jobs Friday.

Some could be blamed on the uncertainty that has hung over the space program for the past nine months, but most were because of the space shuttle's pending retirement.

United Space Alliance laid off 333 employees who worked here in the Johnson Space Center area Friday, as planned, and Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership President Bob Mitchell said "at least an additional 400" were being laid off at aerospace firms, big and small, all around the area as the week came to an end.

Jacobs Engineering laid off 129 employees at its Clear Lake offices just two weeks ago.

USA Communications Manager Kari Fluegel said Friday that her company had also laid off an additional 1,222 employees in Florida and Alabama. Almost 800 were terminated at Cape Canaveral. The Huntsville, Ala., newspaper reported that from 150 to 250 space workers were being laid off as NASA switched from one rocket program to another and that some were expecting to come back when work starts on the new program. That won't be all the layoffs at USA.

Fruegel said "we'll initiate the next layoff in January when another 200 to 300 will be laid off. We'll start that process in October with notices given out in about 60 days."

It is compelling that at the same time NASA Chief Bolden is reaching out to Muslims in Saudi Arabia, Americans by the thousands are being laid off as part of the Obama's retooling of the space agency.

Before It's News says America, meet your new Islamic Astronauts.

Three Muslims from the United Arab Emirates have been selected for space training at NASA, or what's left of it.

Mr Bani Malek , Hamad Rajab and Shamma al Qassim are from the Arab Youth Venture Foundation, an organization in RAK, for the Educational Associates program, which was previously reserved only for US citizens. While I have nothing against these people or the UAE, shouldn't Us Citizens come first?

When you add up benefits for illegal aliens and rights for terrorists, it seems US Citizens are always last in line in their own country.

America, welcome to your new Islamic Space Program -- courtesy of Barak Hussein Obama!

United Space Alliance Lays Off 333

The United Space Alliance laid off 333 employees at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center Friday as the NASA Space Shuttle program comes to an end, with an additional 400 being laid off at the various aerospace firms around the area. Bay Houston Economic Partnership President Bob Mitchell said they hope that, “some portion of these will be rehired in the first quarter next year when the funding becomes clearer.”

Bob Mitchell refers to the new three year $58 billion NASA Authorization Act that Congress passed late Wednesday night, which unfortunately did not come soon enough for the hundreds of employees at Johnson Space Center. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration center for human spaceflight training, research, and flight control, the Johnson Space Center is a complex of some 100 buildings in Houston, Texas.

These layoffs are among a string of recent job terminations across the country due to the new NASA budget bill. The universal hope is that the development of a heavy lift rocket will spark life back in to the industry that many companies have built their livelihood on.

JOBS OUTSOURCED-Obama: Nasa must make Muslims 'feel good'

    ‎07-15-2012 12:53 PM - editado ‎07-15-2012 01:09 PM

NASA JOBS OUTSOURCED BY OBAMA Space Workers Struggle a Year After Last Shuttle
    ABC News ^ | July 15, 2012 | By MIKE SCHNEIDER

A year after NASA ended the three-decade-long U.S. space shuttle program, thousands of formerly well-paid engineers and other workers around the Kennedy Space Center are still struggling to find jobs to replace the careers that flourished when shuttles blasted off from the Florida "Space Coast."

The Kennedy Space Center's current workforce of 8,500 workers is the smallest in more in than 35 years. In the middle of the last decade, the space center employed around 15,000 workers.

For the space workers, it was yet another sign of the growing competition facing the United States as a leader of space exploration. At the moment, the United States has no way of sending astronauts to space in its own vehicles, and NASA is relying on the Soviet-made Soyuz capsules to send U.S. astronauts to the international space station.

Al Schmidt, who worked 27 years at the space center, has cut back on using his car and utilities at home to save money. The 60-year-old's unemployment benefits are running out soon, and without a new U.S. space program offering ready-to-go jobs, he is contemplating retirement, something he doesn't want to do.

"I live day to day. I can't afford new cars or lots of groceries," Schmidt said. "From where I sit, there is nothing coming online soon enough to resolve my problem."

BARACK OBAMA: NASA MUST TRY TO MAKE MUSLIMS ' FEEL GOOD'.

The head of the Nasa has said Barack Obama told him to make "reaching out to the Muslim world" one of the space agency's top priorities.

    By Toby Harnden in Washington
    06 Jul 2010

Barack Obama wants Nasa to acknowledge Muslim achievements and contributions to science maths and engineering

Charles Bolden, a retired United States Marines Corps major-general and former astronaut, said in an interview with al-Jazeera that Nasa was not only a space exploration agency but also an "Earth improvement agency".

Mr Bolden said: "When I became the Nasa administrator, he MrObama charged me with three things.

"One, he wanted me to help reinspire children to want to get into science and math; he wanted me to expand our international relationships; and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering."

He added: "It is a matter of trying to reach out and get the best of all worlds, if you will, and there is much to be gained by drawing in the contributions that are possible from the Muslim [nations]."

Byron York, a conservative columnist for the Washington Examiner, characterised Mr Obama's space policy shift as moving "from moon landings to promoting self-esteem"

Earlier this year, Mr Obama announced the scrapping of the moon programme in favour of an aspiration to visit Mars, cancelling the Constellation programme for manned space flight, the successor to the Space Shuttle.
It means Nasa would not be able to travel beyond the Earth's lower orbit without international assistance and need the help of allies to make it to Mars.
The proposal angered Neil Armstrong and Eugene Cernan, the first and last men to walk on the moon.
Along with Jim Lovell, the Apollo 13 commander, they issued a statement denouncing the decision "devastating" and a plan that "destines our nation to become one of second- or even third-rate stature."

Obama Outsourced Jobs with Stimulus Funding
    By Matt Cover
    July 10, 2012

(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration allowed millions of dollars in federal stimulus funds to go to foreign companies, despite recent statements by President Barack Obama that he opposes “shipping jobs overseas.”
“I want to stop giving tax breaks to companies that ship jobs and factories overseas,” Obama said in a speech in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Tuesday.
    Embed »
“As long as I’m president, I will keep fighting to make sure jobs are located here in the United States of America,” said Obama.
However, Obama’s 2009 economic stimulus spending law—the $787 billion American Recovery and Reivnestment Act—gave millions of federal dollars to foreign companies or funded domestic companies that built factories in foreign countries or bought foreign products.
For example, there is the North Carolina LED manufacturer Cree Inc. Cree was awarded $39 million through a stimulus-funded tax credit program in January 2010. However, half of the company’s employees are in China and the company opened a manufacturing plant in Huizhou City, China in November 2009, according to an article in the industry publication LEDs Magazine.
DOE is making up to $9 million available over three years for improving the accuracy of solar forecasting to more accurately anticipate changes in solar power production. (Photo from Energy Department website)
According to the same article, Cree CEO Chuck Swodoba said he did not consider Cree Inc. to be run like a completely American company.
“Cree management never runs this company as a US company. We consider Cree to be a global company with local wisdoms,” Swodoba said.
Swodoba also said he would continue expanding into China, adding that Cree would keep creating jobs there because it could take advantage of both China’s human resources and its “state-of-the-art technology.”
“We will continue to invest here [China] for both human talent and the most state-of-the-art technologies,” he said.
Another example of stimulus outsourcing is Japanese wind energy firm Eurus Energy, whose U.S. subsidiary, Eurus Energy America, received $91 million in stimulus funds to build a wind farm in Texas, according to a 2010 report from American University. That wind farm reportedly was built with wind turbines manufactured by another Japanese company – Mitsubishi.
“Eurus Energy America, the U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese firm, received $91 million in stimulus money for its Bull Creek wind farm in Texas. The farm consists of 180 Mitsubishi turbines,” the American University report said.
    (AP Photo/Robert F. Bukaty, files)
Eurus told American University that the wind farm was actually built by British firm RES Americas and is now being run by EnXco, an American subsidiary of the French energy firm EDF Energies Nouvelles.
“Illustrating the often international nature of deals in the U.S. wind industry, a company executive told the Watchdog Institute that his company used RES Americas, a British firm, as the general contractor to build its facility. Eurus is now employing EnXco, a subsidiary of French renewable energy firm EDF Energies Nouvelles, to operate the farm,” the report said.
Another example of the Obama administration funding foreign companies is a $337 million loan guarantee from the Department of Energy’s green energy lending program.
That loan went to California energy firm Sempra Energy for a solar power array in Arizona. However, according to a Feb. 4, 2011 New York Times report, Sempra Energy bought its solar panels from the Chinese firm Suntech.
The project, known as Mesquite Solar 1, reportedly used 800,000 of the Chinese solar panels.
Perhaps the best-known example of Obama administration funding of foreign companies is its $500-million loan guarantee to Finnish automaker Fisker Automotive. That loan, part of the Energy Department’s electric vehicle lending program, was made to help Fisker establish a U.S. manufacturing presence.
However, the company never established an American factory, choosing instead to shutter its U.S. operations and continue building cars in Finland.

The ‘Tax Cuts for the Wealthiest’ Lie
    Thomas Sowell
    July 12, 2012

Anyone who wants to study the tricks of propaganda has a rich source of examples in the statements of President Barack Obama. On Monday, July 9, for example, he said that Republicans “believe that prosperity comes from the top down, so that if we spend trillions more on tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, that that will somehow unleash jobs and economic growth.”
Let us begin with the word “spend.” Is the government “spending” money on people whenever it does not tax them as much as it can? Such convoluted reasoning would never pass muster if the mainstream media were not so determined to see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil when it comes to Barack Obama.
Ironically, actual spending by the Obama administration for the benefit of its political allies, such as the teachers’ unions, is called not spending but “investment.” You can say anything if you have your own private language.
But let’s go back to the notion of “spending” money on “the wealthiest Americans.” The people he is talking about are not the wealthiest Americans. Income is not wealth — and the whole tax controversy is about income taxes. Wealth is what you have accumulated, and wealth is not taxed, except when you die and the government collects an inheritance tax from your heirs.
People over 65 years of age have far more wealth — but lower incomes — than people in their thirties and forties. If Obama wants to talk about raising income taxes, let him talk about it, but claiming that he wants to tax “the wealthiest Americans” is a lie and an emotional distraction for propaganda purposes.
The really big lie — and one that no amount of hard evidence or logic seems to make a dent in — is that those who oppose raising taxes on higher incomes simply want people with higher incomes to have more money, in hopes that some of their prosperity will “trickle down” to the rest of the people.
Some years ago, a challenge was issued in this column to name any economist, outside of an insane asylum, who had ever said any such thing. Not one example has yet been received, whether from economists or anyone else. Someone is always claiming that somebody else said it, but no one has ever been able to name and quote that somebody else.
Once we have put aside the lies and the convoluted use of words, what are we left with? Not much.
Obama is claiming that the government can get more tax revenue by raising the tax rate on people with higher incomes. It sounds plausible, and that may be enough for some people, but the hard facts make it a very iffy proposition.
This issue has been fought out in the United States in several administrations — both Democratic and Republican. It has also been fought out in other countries.
What is the real argument of those who want to prevent taxes from rising above a certain percentage, even for people with high incomes? It has nothing to do with making them more prosperous so that their prosperity will “trickle down.”
A Democratic president — John F. Kennedy — stated the issue plainly. Under the existing tax rates, he explained, investors’ “efforts to avoid tax liabilities” made them put their money in tax shelters, because existing tax laws made “certain types of less productive activity more profitable than other more valuable undertakings” for the country.
Ironically, the Obama campaign’s attacks on Mitt Romney for putting his money in the Cayman Islands substantiate the point that President Kennedy and others have made, that higher tax rates can drive money into tax shelters, whether tax-exempt municipal bonds or investments in other countries.
In other words, raising tax rates does not automatically raise tax revenues for the government. Higher tax rates have often led to lower tax revenues for states, the federal government, and other countries. Conversely, lower tax rates have often led to higher tax revenues. It all depends on the circumstances.
But none of this matters to Barack Obama. If class-warfare rhetoric about taxes leads to more votes for him, that is his bottom line, whether the government gets a dime more revenue or not. So long as his lies go unchallenged, a second term will be the end result for him and a lasting calamity for the country.

    President Food Stamp goes international
US PARTNERS WITH MEXICO TO BOOST FOOD STAMP ROLLS
    President Food Stamp goes international
    Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.)
    By: John Hayward
    7/19/2012

“The Mexican government has been working with the United States Department of Agriculture to increase participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or food stamps,” the Daily Callerreported on Thursday.
This is not a new development. What’s news is that Congress, specifically Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), is demanding information and documentation from Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack about the size and scope of the program, how much American taxpayer money it consumes, and its effect on illegal immigration. Thus far, Sessions’ questions have not been answered.
Here’s how the program works, according to the United States Department of Agriculture website: “USDA and the government of Mexico have entered into a partnership to help educate eligible Mexican nationals living in the United States about available nutrition assistance. Mexico will help disseminate this information through its embassy and network of approximately 50 consular offices.” This ensures every Mexican emigrant will be fully trained in promptly accessing American welfare benefits when they cross the border.
Illegal aliens aren’t supposed to be eligible for food stamps, but Sessions is not sanguine about the integrity of the program, which has already seen plenty of fraud and abuse from legal citizens. “It’s a very disturbing policy, gone on for some years, and it raises very serious questions about American immigration policy as well as fiscal policy,” the Senator said, questioning the logic of “an immigration policy that would encourage immigrants who can’t successfully operate within this society.”

The protections against SNAP abuse by illegal aliens are paper-thin. The federal government doesn’t even know how many illegal immigrants might have collected food stamp benefits. State governments are not currently required to use the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database to verify the citizenship status of applicants. (That’s the same database the state of Florida had to sue the federal governmentto gain access to, when they wanted to ensure illegal aliens weren’t voting.)

Sessions has advocated legislation to make use of the SAVE database mandatory, but at the moment, Food Stamp Nation can accept “documentation” of citizenship without making any attempt to validate it… or even settle for “the applicant’s attestation of legal status as a substitute for verification,” as Sessions delicately phrased it in his letter to Vilsack. And even known illegal aliens are allowed to register their children for SNAP, which is an open invitation to abuse, since very little effort is made to monitor how food stamps are actually used.
The food stamp program is a lot bigger than it was in 2004. The USDA reported about 23 million participants back then – already a substantial increase from 17 million in the year 2000. It was up to 28 million by 2008, and then began a period of explosive growth that took the program past 46 million participants today. Food Stamp Nation’s aggressive recruitment program, coupled with President Obama’s recessionary economy, appears to have paid off.
The cost of the food stamp program has ballooned accordingly, from $27 billion in 2004 to $78 billion by the end of 2011. The Heritage Foundation estimated that about 3.9 percent of that funding is lost to “improper food stamp payments,” which would give us about $2.75 billion in fraud for 2011. Among the more common methods of defrauding the system is collecting food stamp benefits for the deceased, which is quite inconsistent with the generally accepted nutritional requirements of the walking dead. If the dead can collect SNAP benefits, it’s probably not that hard for living ineligible recipients to game the system.
The USDA has been under fire for using Spanish-language soap opera serials to recruit new food stamp dependents, a program the agency has indicated it will terminate. Such efforts, including the USDA’s partnership with the Mexican government, only seem outrageous if the “goal” of the food stamp program is seen as reducing the number of people who use it. But that’s now how dependency-fueled Big Government works. Its programs are judged successful when they expand, and spend more money. That’s the only way bureaucrats can demand perpetual funding increases.
Nanny-state programs are like sharks: they die if they don’t keep moving, and they’re always hungry. From this perspective, shameless efforts to increase participation among carefully targeted constituencies are entirely logical. You might as well ask the Terminator to feel guilty about running through the phone book and shooting everyone named “Sarah Connor.”
Concerns have been expressed that SNAP will grow to consume the entire Department of Agriculture budget (if I may use that term in reference to a government that stopped having “budgets” three years ago.) For the Obama Administration, that’s not a problem, it’s an opportunity. Dependency puts down markers against future fiscal restraint. If the next Congress gets serious about spending reductions, and goes anywhere near the funding stream for Food Stamp Nation, it will be accused of wanting to starve poor people to death, just as ObamaCare was a down payment on a future in which limited-government advocates can be accused of wanting to murder hospital patients. Do not for one moment imagine that the people who currently portray all budget cuts as reckless efforts to shut down police and fire departments will hesitate to make those arguments.
It’s curious that this Administration has been willing to work so closely with the Mexican government on expanding food stamp dependency in the United States, but couldn’t be bothered to notify Mexican authorities of a deadly gun-running program that killed over 300 of its citizens.

Outsourcer-In-Chief Obama Has Sent More Jobs Overseas Than Bain Ever Could
    07/19/2012 | JoeClarke.Net

So, its piling on time by the media trying to murder Mitt Romney for being responsible for outsourcing jobs to foreign countries. Business rags like Bloomberg and the Financial Times have been hammering the Mittster for things that have been, for years, ethical and permissible under U.S. law - just as countless other big Democrat donor companies have been doing for years - going oversease to invest and make product. The United States, as of President Obama's inauguration, has an accumulated investment of over 4.1 Trillion Dollars invested overseas. These investments include jobs, goods, taxes, and services, some of which are brought back into the United States, and which will be used for Americans' enjoyment and profit.
The same week that the attack on Romney's association on Bain Capital surfaced, Obama received a $1,000,000 donation from Blackstone which has been a huge outsourcer of jobs, yet the Press gave it very little mention.General Electric, headed by Jeffrey Imelt, one of President Obama's business Czars has been responsible for firing over 34,000 American jobs, while sending 25,000 jobs overseas. Not a whimper from the lamestream media. As Obama has increased welfare, SSI, and SSD benefits to historically high percentages, more people have been tempted to lay themselves off from work, or just not get interested enough to find employment. There are millions of job openings for every sort of interest from technical to lower pay jobs, but many Americans have been lulled into Obamanomics and his Tinkle-Up Economy (As opposed to Trickle Down) which dictates that if the government gives (borrows and prints money) enough free stuff and money to the poor (and to those earning up to 4 times the poverty level), then those noveau riche poor will pour their windfall profits via the generosity of Uncle Sam back into the economy, and thereby pump up the U.S. economy. Four years and 4 Trillion Dollars later, we are still waiting. President Obama's latest attempt to boost the economy (buy votes) has come via his most recent Tinkle-Up Economic tactic, ie.,

Obama Calls for $12.7 Trillion in New Welfare Spending ,which promises to make it even easier for non-workers to receive welfare benefits, especially if they have no desire to work.John Stossel, others, and I Have Jobs But No One Wants Them, and Obama's Big Government Absorbtion Of The Middle Class present excellent reports on how and why many unemployed Americans will not apply for jobs because "the jobs don't pay enough." And, truly, they do not pay as well as the innumerable multitude of government welfare programs, which they partake of, while working under the table. Just another reason American companies go overseas to find talent.
An Education Bubble, built by Democrats through the years, has only quadrupled the cost of college education while not preparing so many graduates for their future - of bearing a huge education debt, and unemployment, no thanks to President Obama for sitting on the economy. American Employers Cannot Find Qualified Workers For 3.3 Million Jobs Openings
Obama's next "boost" to the economy is the promise to increase taxes on job creators come January 1, 2013, otherwise known as TaxMageddon - for good reason.
Obama's Job Council, which was formed to stop the hemorrhaging of U.S. jobs, is directed by some of the all time biggest outsourcers of jobs like GE, Boeing,Xerox, and American Express, as posted in the Huffington Post.
Yes, you heard it right, the Huffington Post. It makes one wonder if President Obama ever looks in the mirror, ever listens to what he says, or ever reevaluates his perpetual flip-flopping (evolutions). Obama may even be prouder of the jobs he's killed when TaxMageddon arrives, next year, yet, businesses are already restraining employment because of BO's promise to do "What's Fair."
He's a Harvard intellectual when interviewed privately, but he turns into Malcolm X behind the podium, addressing his minions with the roar of Jeremiah Wright. How many Obamas are there? As many as there are Social Security numbers, I would guess.

Taxpayers funded terror attack: Tsarnaev family on welfare

April 24, 2013 by Janeen Capizola 2 Comments

It’s sickening and deeply disturbing to know that Tamerlan Tsarnaev may have used his taxpayer funded Mass. welfare benefits to finance becoming a radicalized Mulim terrorist who would someday kill and maim American citizens.

The Boston Herald reported Wednesday that after “repeated calls and emails to welfare officials,” they learned Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan was indeed receiving state welfare benefits for him, his wife and young daughter.

    The Herald report said:

The state’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services said those benefits ended in 2012 when the couple stopped meeting income eligibility limits. [Katherine] Russell Tsarnaev’s attorney has claimed Katherine — who had converted to Islam — was working up to 80 hours a week as a home health aide while Tsarnaev stayed at home.

Actually, according to the Herald, the entire Tsarnaev family lived off the Mass. taxpayer’s dime:

In addition, both of Tsarnaev’s parents received benefits, and accused brother bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan were recipients through their parents when they were younger, according to the state.

The state would not say when the family began receiving welfare benefits, but did say the Tsarnaev’s “were not receiving transitional assistance benefits at the time of the [Boston Marathon bombing],” the article said.

Details emerge daily that the ethnic Chechen Tamerlan Tsarnaev became a radicalized Islamic extremist sometime in 2008 or 2009, and was at one time investigated by the FBI for ties to terrorist organizations.

Tsarnaev was killed last Friday in a shootout with police in Watertown.

    More from the Boston Herald.
