Debate Over Illegal Immigration Is Still Raging
Debate over illegal immigration is still raging

Some people are convinced that illegal immigration is the reason why the United States is mired in its current economic mess.
They claim that illegal immigrants steal jobs from U.S. citizens; that they are an expensive nuisance; that they have filled schools, prisons and hospitals; and that they all should be deported back to their countries of origin.
On the other hand, supporters of undocumented workers say they are grateful for these immigrants’ contributions to society.
The controversial topic of illegal immigration fills the airwaves of talk radio and cable TV and is one that President Barack Obama promised to address.
NumbersUSA.com, an organization that supports lower immigration levels, argues that illegal immigrants are a tax burden that cost $1,178 per native household in California and are responsible for more than 45 percent of the state’s school children, costing California’s taxpayers more than $26 billion each year.
NumbersUSA.com also argues that nationwide non-native households are 59 percent more likely to take advantage of a state or federal welfare program than a native household, and that illegal immigrants withdraw $10 for every $1 they contribute to the Social security system.

In 1986 we went through this. Here we are again! The only thing that has changed is the total numbers, and several administrations, all of which were total failures at living up to the promise made after the last amnesty. May history record their contempt for our nation.

Hate guiding our economic future? How about economic reality, Mr. Ortega? As far as deporting everyone in this country illegally, "Si, se puede."
And how many years have these folks estimated only 12 million illegals in this country, when they arrive by the thousands daily, crawling over the border, falling off ships in containers, flying in with valid visas and never leaving?
Legal immigrants are one thing and illegal aliens need to be separated from being put into the same category. Until that is clarified unconditionally, the argument is moot about how wonderful illegals are to our socio-economic success.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I can go back to the sixties. We are repeating the era of the 60's to the T. Drugs were available to everybody, even proscribed by OBGYN's to pregnant women (diet pills) handed out to the public by diet doctors who weren't even doctors, then all of a sudden they were taken off the marked. Sound familiar to anyone old enough to remember. I do because my Dr. had me take them the whole time I was pregnant, then all of a sudden they were no longer available. The same thing they have done with pain pills today. I guess all the drugs addicts they have created will start buying crack and meth to find replacements and you people think this government is not supporting this. Well think again and think hard.
