‘Knockout’ Game…So It Has Come To This

Recently, I finished all of the levels in the Angry Birds game on my cell phone, so I went online to see if I could find a different game to replace my favorite way to waste time. Boy did I ever find one!

It is called ‘Knockout’. This game combines the physical activity of a Wii Fit with the feeling you get from beating up a whore in ‘Grand Theft Auto 5.’ Basically, you run up to someone and knock them out.

Right the f*** out.

Originally invented in a ghetto somewhere, probably in Detroit or Chicago; ‘Knockout’ has risen in popularity among urban youth as a way to pass the time between beatings at home, and waiting to collect their Obama phones, welfare and food stamps.

Because it is a ‘game’ you no longer need to be inhibited by social norms or morality. Nothing is taboo! Go ahead, punch a homeless man, an elderly woman, a baby, or your own girlfriend (I’m looking at you Chris Brown) and see how good it feels to take basic human dignity away from another person for no other reason than your own amusement.

Fans of the game say they are looking forward to March of 2014, when the ACLU will be unlocking the ‘Cop Punch’ level to the ‘Knockout’ game, where players will not only be allowed to knock out police officers without the fear of legal retribution, but they will be rewarded for doing so.

This is what America has been working towards for years! Under the strong guidance of the Democrat party and First Lady Michelle Obama’s ‘Let’s Move’ program, we can look forward to ‘Knockout’ and many other games of this ilk to permeate our culture in the years to come.

I am an old man. From a lifetime of experience I can assure you that the cheap punks who go around punching people are COWARDS trying to hide their chicken shit souls behind a façade of the tough guy. Like the Jimmy Cagney movie about WWI where the street tough guy turned into a coward in battle, that is what this nation has become, a nation of cowards pretending to be brave by attacking weak, helpless, unsuspecting victims.

It has been my experience that the truly brave, those who have proven their courage in the most frightening of circumstances (battle), are quiet "ordinary" guys who never brag about their exploits. It is the phony, the cowards who feel the need to advertise how tough they are supposed to be by playing their vapid, nice safe game brutalizing helpless or unsuspecting people.

So I will say this: this is not so much a symptom of how mean our society has become as to how cowardly we have become. If we were a nation of real tough guys the Middle East would have become a desert wasteland shortly after the 9-11 attack on the twin towers.

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – A terrifying new ‘game’ that’s already caused deaths in Syracuse, St. Louis and New Jersey is sweeping the nation, and it preys upon unsuspecting people walking the streets, anywhere.

A recent report from New York-based CBS 2 shed light on the growing trend, displaying unsettling footage of teens participating in this game – which goes by the name ‘Knockout’ – and involves randomly targeting passersby, with the ultimate goal being to knock them out with one punch as they walk by.

One victim shown in the footage was 46-year-old Ralph Santiago of Hoboken, N.J., who was found dead with his neck broken and head lodged between iron fence posts, according to NJ.com.
Video surveillance shows Santiago walking in an alleyway in broad daylight, and just as he’s about to pass a pack of teenagers, one launches the fatal, knockout blow.

And what’s the point?

“For the fun of it,” one teen said in the video.

“They just want to see if you got enough strength to knock somebody out,” said another.

D.C. has not been spared of this violent trend.

One local woman, who was attacked on 14thStreet NW in Columbia Heights on Thursday, tells DCist.com she believes to have been a target of this game, as a group of around eight males on bikes came up behind her, with one hitting her in the head. According to the report, police categorized the attack as “simple assault.”

The woman tells the publication she believes others in the area should be on the lookout for similar types of attacks.
