    Early Voting

My wife and I went Sunday to vote early since I will not be able to vote on election day. We were shocked at the huge turnout. We waited in line for 2 1/2 hours to get the chance to cast our ballot. The election officials told us this had gone on at all the sites in Houston every day early voting was allowed and expected to continue. Never have I see such a huge turn out. Anyone else vote early?

Oh, eventhough I had to write Chuck Baldwin in on my ballot he got my vote. This is the first time I have ever voted for a third party candidate. I also voted for a thrid party candidate in the race John Cornyn was in.

    BigTex,

I was in Houston and saw the stories on TV about the long lines to vote early, this could be an interesting election if the turnout is going to be big.
The talking heads on the local channels all gave different reasons for it.

Didn't John Cornyn get caught doing something illegal?

I voted this past Wednesday and I thought the polls were open at 7:00am. Needless to say I was about 5th in line and it took about 10 minutes to vote after the polls opened at 8:00. I also wrote in Chuck Baldwin and voted against Cornyn by voting for Yvonne Adams Schick a third party candidate. Cornyn has consistantly pandered to illegal alien supporters and supported free trade saying it gives Texans jobs. He also voted for the bailout that gave hundreds of billions of our dollars to those that could not make good decisions with money in the first place.
