"Bush getting cold feet on Illegal Immigration" !

BBC's White House correspondent reported (May2, 2006, PBS station WEDU in Florida) that the White House is in a panic over Bush's sinking Poll numbers ------ and Bush is really feeling the heat over Illegal immigration.
The correspondent said that from everyone he's been talking to that "Bush is getting cold feet" on the Amnesty.

    How great is that!!!!

Well boo-frikkin-hoo for him. I sat and watched the Senate hearings about illegal immigration and hour and hour flew by as I watched one politician after another talk about Mexican rights, about illegal rights, about immigrant rights and not one of them said a thing about American rights. Everyone I work with right now is FURIOUS about illegal immigration like I have never seen in my life. I work with artists mainly, and most are left-leaning anyway, and if they are furious then I shudder to think what the right wingers are thinking.

No--scratch that. I am thrilled that people are getting seriously angry. We are being used to subsidize an invasion that is destroying our quality of life.

You know, driving to work yesterday was a breeze. The city was quiet and pleasant. It left me and my coworkers hoping for some more "days without immigrants."

That would be a prayer answered if it is true.
Got to see it to believe it first though.

I hope his feet get so cold that they break off and he has to crawl back to his home country of Mexico. He can take his sister-in-law and his nephew with him.

    Are we in control?

Bush's low approval numbers are the result of the selling out of America's ideals and all we are to foreign interests, corporate America, and illegal aliens. He is paying a political price for being in bed with fortune 500 execs, foreign potentates, and illegal aliens and their advocates and not listening to those who installed him in office in the first place. His economic policies have been a total failure, producing the highest trade and budget deficits in histories. I also hold him complicit in the impending demise of social security and medicaid/medicare. Those resources already were in a precarious position financially, and with this president's flagrant disregard for immigration laws they are in danger of immediate collapse from the additional strain caused by of millions of illegal aliens using those services, many illegaly. This inept, incompetent, and impotent administration and congress share the blame for taking this country down the path of destruction.

I hope Bush's poll numbers keep on falling! For way too long he has pretty much been telling us to F-off on illegal immigration by not securing our borders, trying to push a guest-worker program (amnesty) down our throats and basically doing nothing to combat illegal immigration (except for rubbing elbows with Vincente Fox). Well, now WE are beginning to push back. I hope Bush's poll numbers are in the 20's next week! Serves him right and maybe (just maybe) it will be a wake up call for all the politicians who want to GIVE our Country away! No sympathy here! By the way, has Bush even said anything yet regarding yesterday's protests?

well, hate to say it but, just how many politicians still care? So many in congress are being paid off, getting rich to look the other way. We've got to be more responsible voters and start looking at the big picture....neither party matters to me anymore. And slanderous ads just tell me that politician is a dawg who just wants to be in place to get rich quick.

I hope Bush's feet are colder than a well-digger's arse, as my daddy used to say!
