Union Holds Retiree's Health Insurance Hostage to get No Votes on CA Proposition 32

We were promised by Obama that we would be able to keep our Health Insurance and our Doctor. We were promised that our Health Insurance cost would go down. In the past year our Health Insurance has gone up $5,131.00 with less benefits. Needless to say I have been livid and I really didn't think I could get any madder. I was wrong.

Today we received a letter from the Sheet Metal Worker's Union telling us to vote No on Proposition 32. CA Prop 32 ends payroll deductions by unions for politics, prohibits all corporation and union contributions to candidates and ends donations by government contractors to politicians who can vote on their contracts.

Now here is the paragraph from the letter that has me seeing red!

If you are a retiree, this proposition will have the ability to negatively affect your healthcare cost because when we can no longer elect labor friendly politicians, we will lose a significant amount of man-hours. When man-hours are significantly reduced, we will have less money to subsidize retiree benefits. You can stop this by voting no on Proposition 32.

This is a private union, not a public union. Every retiree contributed 100% to their retirement package. Now the union is threatening the loss of retiree benefits if CA Prop 32 passes.

    >Bama will say anthing that's to his advantage, whether that statement is true or false. Looks like this union is taking a page from his playbook.
